Recently booked in for the weekly steak night and was not disappointed! 2 steaks plus a bottle of wine for £30 - absolutely fantastic value for money. The staff are attentive and go above and beyond to deliver great customer service. Really enjoyed ourselves! Great...dining experience in a cracking little pub! Would 100% recommendMore

I was recommended this place by a mate that lives in the area. He said "Tuesdays is steak night and worth going" so off we went! The pub wasn't packed but was busy. We'd come for the steak and it was very nice. The chips...were chunky and delicious. We shared a super Sticky Toffee pudding for dessert. It was very tasty and a reasonable size which helps when your wife is very quick with her spoon! Staff were all very pleasant and the toilets were clean too. We'd come again but we live a fair old distance.More

We have wanted to try this local pub for a while and happened to be in the area so popped in for lunch. We were not disapointed. It was really really good. The staff were very friendly (Emily was stand out brilliant). Lovely bar area...with comfy seats and a welcoming atmosphere. A lovely simple menu (sometimes you get pages of options!) with a good selection of yummy dishes. We will be back for the steak night which looks epic! This place is a real hidden gem.More

Booked a couple of days in Motorhome. We were that overwhelmed by the friendliness of the staff and residents on this site we bought a caravan and have never been so happy. A great pub on entering the site once again lovely staff. Would definitely...recommend this siteMore

Booked in for lunch with friends. What an excellent meal. A word of warning though, if you order the grilled camembert it is big !1 I will certainly be going again.

stayed on the campsite for 3 nights from 30 July. Had two meals in the pub both excellent- pub and campsite staff extremely friendly. Quiet campsite with dog walking around outside of site. Stayed with our 10 metre American motor home and had no problems...even with car on back entering and exiting the campsite. Will definitely go again for a long weekend and recommend.More

What a fantastic place to eat and campsite. We stayed overnight in our campervan and had a lovely meal in the on site pub. Absolutely the best meal out for a long time and very friendly staff too. What a great place to stay.

Stayed at the campsite 16th June after travelling in our motorhome. Visited the restaurant and had a fantastic meal. Starters we’re fabulous as was the pasta main I had, my husband had the steak and ale pie. Both of us could not fault the food,...and the warm service from the staff. We will definitely be re-visiting.More

We called for Sunday lunch as the football was on a tv had been set up. After only being there for 10 mins they decided to put a speaker on also which made the volume unbearable. We ordered our food which came quickly but a...lot of the staff were stood near us with other guests smoking which as non smokers is awful, we then got wet through by a couple of children having a water fight and the tables were far too close to each other! All in all I will not go back again very disappointedMore
