Grace Neill's restaurant is very pleasant to visit for lunch. Plenty off road parking. The restaurant itself is well laid out. The food is good with a very fine menu. The service on the day in question was satisfactory. This was a lunch out with the ladies and we all enjoyed the experience. I have used this restaurant many times... More

Had a lovely lunch here today - roast beef was very tender and no issue swapping potatoes for salt and chilli chips. Friends had scampi and lamb shank. Dessert was apple pear and date crumble...first class! Excellent gin cocktails as well.

We visited Grace Neills as a family for the first time tonight. Phoned in advance as hadn't booked but were told a table was available. On arrival greeted warmly. Seated immediately. Drink order arrived quickly and with a friendly smile. 3 children and 2 adults all varying tastes so the menu was perfect as it suited all. Great variety and... More

Dear gemstone1218, i am sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your recent visit with us. I am sorry you feel you were rushed but i would see that as being efficient and getting you a table as soon as possible, rather than you waiting too long, sometimes its hard to win! We did have an issue with part of the... More

Really enjoyed the evening meal, very reasonably priced for 2 courses, and the staff were very willing to assist with slight changes, just go and try it!

Description
This bar has been around since before the English settlers landed in America (in 1620) and when it originally opened on this exact site on Donaghadee's High Street in 1611, it was known as The King's Arms. Since then, Grace Neill's has been visited by countless locals over the years, as well as smugglers and pirates, sailors and soldiers. Fishermen and lifeboatmen, businessmen and rascals have all enjoyed a drink or two in the original snugs at the front of the bar.
