Top of the list for takeaway options, first time in the restaurant. Really professional staff, greeted at the door, couldn't be more helpful. Well presented and clean resturant, the two of us has a large table so there was enough space for all the drinks...More

We have been to the Madhuban quite a few times now, and always had a really good experience. The food is really good, the service is excellent and the restaurant itself really nicely decorated and gives a nice Indian feel. It really is worth a...More

A booking for 12 people on a Tuesday evening - nice to see pretty busy with lots of other tables full, and good standard of service. Everyone finished every last grain of rice, which is always a good sign. Pleasant ambience - definitely use again

Great service but food was disappointing. The onion bhajis were greasy and pretty awful. Main course was very mild although should have been moderately spicy.

A very disappointing experience. 1. We had booked in advance for 18.30: our main meal was not served until 20.15. Admittedly the restaurant was very busy but for a supposedly successful venue this is unacceptable. 2. This place needs action on the excessive noise levels,...More

This was not a great experience. I should have been warned when the takeaway was ready in a few minutes. Clearly everything is just zapped in the microwave. It was never like this in the past. Sorry but I will not be going back you...More

Description
Established in 1987, award-winning Madhuban in Liss has been serving up authentic Indian cuisine for years. The restaurant is a family business run by Head Chef Lodue Miah and his two brothers, while his uncle and several cousins help manage the busy kitchens. With decades of experience between them, its no surprise that Madhuban offers an unrivalled dining experience that has won the hearts of local curry connoisseurs. The menu showcases dishes from India, Bangladesh and beyond, with a strong emphasis on bold flavours and fresh spices. Popular dishes include Nihari lamb shank, Hyderabadi Gosht Shorba (a traditional Indian soup); and chicken tikka Darjeeling chicken in a naturally green and exceptionally fragrant marinade of herbs, garlic, ginger and yoghurt.
