We love Mexican food, so we were delighted to find a place that serves Colombian/Mexican options. Food was pretty good for the price, let down a bit by a discarded wrapper in our nacho bowl. Fantastically friendly young waiter, who also spoke great English if you needed it. Slightly frosty Madame on arrival tried to move us off our table... More

Very friendly service with the food of good quality and big portions. Desserts were very well done, but a shame that there were only two tables of four in the entire restaurant for lunch as ambiance was lacking slightly.

My wife and I were looking for a simple restaurant for lunch and the standard Plat du Jour. unfortunately there was no restaurant in the town offering this so we chose the above. The menu looks interesting and our only concern was that there were no other people there. The restaurant was very clean and the people very friendly. The... More

As Huelgoat is seasonal not many places stay open late in the winter. One evening this was one of the places open. We were quite surprised when we saw the menu was so spicy. We had a nice meal with good service

Visited Huelgoat (lovely square) and although most places do accept dogs, we were able to park right outside and with a window seat were able to see the dogs while eating. Very welcoming and spoke good English. Great deep fried meat filled pastries to start with including a chilli chutney and fish for my wife, main course was cod for... More

Two of us had the rack of pork spare ribs served with homemade chips and others had the steak and fish! Everything was well cooked and the creme brûlée dessert also delicious! The service was very friendly an great wine also! The chef... More

In France, it is hard to find latin American food. Here you have a Columbian trained chef. we enjoyed the many special dishes.

How to be polite...it was a damp Brittany mid week night and it was getting to be a tough ask to find somewhere open. Well this place was and we needed to eat. Soon as we saw the bare strip lights we should have turned tail but soldiered on and after meeting the patron...waiting...then ordering...then waiting...we were expecting some quality... More

This was simply awful. The service was slow and dreadful, esp the annoying waitress (Columbian I think) - should have left straight away! The food was simply mush. It was really impossible to tell what it was - Cordon Bleu it certainly was not!! Avoid at all costs. One of the worst meals I have ever had. Shame because the... More
