Once again an amazing meal. Great friendly low key service in an relaxed cosy pub. Called in advance and the Chef cooked us Lobster Thermidor, even though it was not on the menu. Never had a bad meal here - highly recommend.

We have been to this pub, which is local to us, on several occasions for Sunday lunch recently. I rarely post reviews but the Sunday lunch is so exceptional I think the chef should get more recognition for the quality of the food hence this...More

We visited for dinner on a Friday night whilst staying in the village. We booked a table, but didn't really need to as it was pretty quiet. The food was of a good standard for a local pub. We had the steak and chips and...More

Sorry to say that our meals were at best average. Microwaved pastry on the pie, limp french fries and not well presented. Service was fine but it does seem that it matters who is doing the cooking on a particular day. Don't like being critical...More

The restaurant is not too noisy. Holds about 30 to 40 max. There should not be too much commotion but call ahead to find out how busy it would on the day you would be going out for your meal. Hope this will help.
