We came for lunch as we read about it in a guidbook and ordered two plates of chugchucaras. Portions were huge, order one to share for two. Meat was delicious, sides were ok. We paid 19 USD for the two plates.
We enjoyed the signature dish of Latacunga at Mama Negra's. Since we arrived in the late afternoon, the place was empty. The waitstaff was friendly but gave us time and space. We enjoyed this taste of the city.
