We've been in Nicaragua for 2 weeks and this was our less favorable meal thus far. The sauce covering my fish tasted like diluted ketchup. My boyfriend ordered the fish in garlic sauce which was super oily. The potatoes were not undercooked and the rice still too hard. Also the atmosphere we found not so nice: super load music, smoking... More

I have fond memories of this restaurant because we went with my father when he was still alive. The food is good and enjoyable and some nights they have live music. We have gotten good services and the food is affordable.

The food is delicious and is not expensive. The only thing is that sometimes they take a little bit of more time to bring the food.

Went with a largish group. It was a mixed bag with the meals. My husband ordered the fish, which was very good, others were not so happy with their choices. Service was a little slow, but it was a busy night and I think only one waiter. Nice atmosphere with the outside dining. There are not a great deal of... More

If you are in the mood for some good authentic frito, I suggest the frito mixto. You will dine under a big open air pallapa. The food is consistently good, and they have the best pepper in town. It is on the edge so you will need to take a taxi, but well worth it.

My friend and I went because we were told everyone would know English. Not our poor little waiter. My friend ended up with onion rings & refried beans. I have no clue what kind of meat I got it wasn't under chicken, so I'm thinking maybe pork. With rice & French fries. Then the next time we went with a... More

Luna's Ranch was nothing special. We had two types of fish, which was good, the jalapeño chicken was also good. The view however was not as good as expected, and service was slow. I can't say it was a big eating experience when the high point of the meal was the homemade mints we got with our check, but it's... More

This is the "cultural" restaurant where you can see old photo panels, typical costumes for festivals and some souvenirs. On weekends you can try the famous "run down" soup. The mint chewy candies given with your bill are hand made and tasty. The place is very popular among locals as well as visitors. This is one of the decent restaurants... More
