This is a fabulously friendly and welcoming café. They bake their own bread, which you can buy to take away, and were happy to give us the recipes for their wonderful soup and pickles.

Second visit to this hidden gem in Talgarth, did not disappoint. The bread was fantastic and the river outside the window makes it even more picturesque. Even though they didn't have the ingredients for my salad they offered a replacement. It's just the little things that make visits worthwhile. Lovely little shop. Well worth the visit.

Great food and drink in a nice setting by the river and ancient bridge. You can follow or proceed your food with a trip round the adjacent mill. Fresh artisan bread and cakes made from flour from the mill are available to purchase.

A lovely and rewarding experience which I can wholeheartedly recommend. I spent a lovely afternoon with lovely people and a fab teacher, Nicola and came home with some fantastic bread! You must try it or treat someone else!

We used this location several times during the half term break in October. The restaurant is located in an old mill, but the interior is very striking, and comfortable with a view over the mill stream. The food was very tasty and served quickly. It all appears to be made to order and the squash and peanut butter soup was... More

The food is amazing, locally sourced and home cooked. The bread is a must to buy. Friendly staff only too willing to help you choose from the scrummy menu.

The coffee here tastes good. They make a great flat white which was lovely because all the other coffees I'd had in the brecon beacons so far had been really terrible. Lovely setting too.

Only popped in to have a coffee, but the staff were so friendly, telling us how high the water rises after heavy rain and how much water it needs to turn the water mill. We sat by the window over looking the the stream and cottages, then looked around the mill workings....fascinating history, well worth a visit. Lovely and clean,... More

Enjoy delicious local food sitting overlooking the stream by the mill at Talgarth. Friendly staff. Excellent food. Very reasonably priced. Comfortable setting. Definitely will be back.
