Los bandidos has been open for 32 years and still is running under the same ownership. It is known worldwide and is frequented by celebrities , royalties and locals etc.. It is the only restaurant in the port that is fullybooked all year around therefore we are open all year around every day. The decor is classic and very cosy and the menu is full of classic dishes with a twist . Everything is home made and freshly prepared for each customer.

The restaurant will not disappoint, expensive but top draw food and service.
It's perfect to treat yourself, impress guests or just have a perfect meal in a great location.
My avocado & prawns were a delight and the sauce was given separately so you can judge just how much you want. Avocado perfectly ripe and the prawns had a great flavour.
The steak and linguine au gratin was a owners speciality and boy is it good.
If you drink 3 or 4 glasses of good but averagely priced wine you will not get much change out of 100 euros per person but you do get what you pay for. Top quality.

We had booked a table at this restaurant for 7.30 and requested a window table. When we arrived we did not receive a friendly welcome even though we had visited this restaurant many times over the last 20years. We were not shown to a window table which all showed RESERVED. When I mentioned that we’d requested a window table we were told that they’re kept for REGULARS!!! We were actually given a window table in the end but were rushed and had finished our meal and gone by 8.35. 1 hour and 5 minutes and €145.00. A nice restaurant with excellent food, probably the best in the Port, but unfortunately not a pleasant experience for us.

So sorry that you did not enjoy your evening to the full.
We only have 10 tables at the window and although you have requested a window table we have to give those who have reserved then long in advance which mean that they are normally not available if you reserved the same day or a couple. Of days before.
You did however get a window table but with the condition that you had to leave before the quest who already reserved the table would arrive , therefore you had little time to enjoy your meal. If you on the other hand had accepted the table that you were supposed to have you could have stayed as long as you wished

We know this restaurant and were actually tempted to dine somewhere else on the Saturday we spent in Puerto Banus, but having strolled around for a while we both decided that there was no point making life complicated.
We both enjoyed the meal immensely - service was prompt and the food was its usual consistently high standard.
Reservations are usually required, but in these Covid times we were able to walk straight in.

We had dinner with the family. Food was good but the lady who took orders was not nice and actually quite rude. And then there was a photographer who took a picture of us without telling us the price beforehand and when he arrived with the printed picture it did costs €30! Unbelievable! And the same lady pointed us to him! This restaurant is one of the most expensive places in the area and where you don’t expect you to be fall for. That incident spoiled our dinner totally. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Sorry to say that you are absolutely wrong about the photographer. He is the only photographer that is allowed in to the restaurant with official permission from the port and he has worked for us 24 years and he comes around twice every evening and is loved by our customers. No other photographer is allowed to enter the restaurant

We booked this restaurant as it was packed when we walked past on our first night. We had some fantastic meals in the surrounding restaurants so were lioking forward to eating here. We were seated quickly and efficiently, our drinks and food order was taken and a bread basket was brought. That's where the positives end. I ordered a tuna and avocado starter, my husband the iberico ham. His ham was good but just slices of ham on a plate. My starter was bland and poorly presented. Main course I hade duck breast and gratin. It was again ok. My husband had a king prawn pasta dish which he said was lacking in flavour. Without drinks this very standard meal cost about 120 euros. It's certainly not a restaurant I'd go back to given the fantastic restaurants close by offering better quality

Dear Lillet, the pata Negra ham “Joselito” is the best quality ham in Spain and is always served sliced on a plate without any garments in the whole of Spain due to its quality and tradition.
If we were as “booring” with our food as you put in your review we would certainly not be packed every evening for 36 years but as you said you can dine where ever you please

We had dinner with our family for the first time at the restaurant. The food was great but the waitress Lena was unfriendly and rude. She made zero effort. Also the restaurant lets in random photographers from the street that trick/scam tourists into taking a photo without telling you they don’t work at the restaurant and then charges you 15 euros for the photo. No one at the restaurant warns you that the photos are by a stranger who doesn’t work at the restaurant and that they are very expensive. I have never been to a 5 star restaurant where strangers of the street are allowed in to scam tourists into taking photos which are very overpriced. I was very disappointed by this. For the price you pay no strangers should be allowed in to scam the customers. That atmosphere does not match the price of the restaurant.

Absolute wonderful restaurant on the harbour. Great location, fantastic chic interior and then of course the food, wine and service were fantastic! Olga our waitress knew the food and wines so well. She politely advised us as to the best Lamb dish and indeed helped us to choose the appropriate red wine too, without any fuss. We are bound to visit again very soon

Hey! We were a party of four people who visited the restaurant and we had high expectations of food and service considering the price and what is promised on the website. 38 years in business (which in previous comments from Owners is a strong argument) doesn't seem to have made a difference when it comes to chef skills and service. The staff felt generally stressed and careless and on several occasions spilled wine on tables and our clothes. We ordered two appetizers to share which was okay. Before the main course we asked for tips and were recommended a fish dish that 3 out of 4 in the party ordered. Unfortunately, the expectations of the dish did not match the price as everyone in the party thought that the dish lacked finesse and taste experience. We expected more from the food versus the price picture. The icing on the cake that contributes to the overall experience was that the receipt did not match what we had ordered (an unclear order of 55 euros was added to the receipt), which was then adjusted when we told. Given that the food is Swedish inspired, we believe that the quality delivered does not reach the price.

Kan säga att jag är ledsen att ni inte var nöjda och jag själv var på semester så jag kunde inte hjälpa till den Kvällen.
Vi är ansedda som en av de bästa restauranger som Puerto Banús har men ibland misslyckas även vi .
Det var stressigt den kvällen med gäster som inte kom i tid och gäster som blev fler än de hade bokattill och det gör att köket som är mycket litet blir överbelastat .
Synd att ni inte klagade när ni åt för då hade ni fått ny mat och vi hade kunnat göra er till lags.
Jag kan bara be om ursäkt men som ni nog förstår så skulle inte restaurangen vara berömd och omtalad om vi inte gjorde ett utmärkt arbete i 38 år.

Difficult to understand why as excellent restaurant as this want to fool their customers to pay extra using unextable trics like offering apperitive drink gin tonic with Henrikcs gin and charge 20€ for that. Puerto Banus is expensive place, but that his beyond all the limits. Beware of get to be fooled in this restaurant.
After complaint they reduce the price 50% but need to make special complaining action.

I am sorry to say that your complaint about the price of our Henricks gin is totally unacceptable.
You were very unpleasant and during my 35 years as an owner of this classic restaurant I rarely had a client with such bad behaviour
I suggest that you look at the drink menu for the price that you can afford and with 12 different labels you can choose to order a cheaper brand.

This is one of the classic eateries in Puerto Bonus and it has a unique feel. We hardly come to Puerto Banus any more when we are at our house in the south, simply the wrong vibe. But we went for one purpose only, to eat at Los Bandidos for the first time in years. It's still got a pleasant feel and vibrant atmosphere. The menu and wine list is till good and we enjoyed our evening with the multi-cultural staff who are fun to chat with, especially Scott, the Sommelier . It's pricey, especially for wine, but it's PB and it's fun

I booked a table for a Saturday family night a week in advance. Despite many years of existence, the place enjoys high demand and maintains quality. We received a great place. Very professional service. Amazing wine. Delicious dishes. The restaurant has high prices, but I think the quality of the food is so good that it is worth spending. The price corresponds to the quality 100%. Very nice atmosphere. Really worth it !

I had to write a review for this restaurant after we thoroughly enjoyed ringing in the New Year at Los Bandidos at their NYE banquet last night. The food was fabulous, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff were first class looking after us all night with smiles on all their faces. It was a great night out and nothing was spared to ensure we all had a fabulous time. We. are visiting the area for a few days after xmas and seeing in the New Year as well. I would thoroughly recommend Los bandidos to anyone staying in the Marbella area for a fabulous night out!

It's easy to see why this restaurant is a legend in Puerto Banus. Everything just works - the location, the service & the food. Compliments to Olga who looked after us & recommended the duck which was the daily special - it was sublime. Notable they sell some high-end local wines by the glass. Booking is essential.
