After having a disastrous visit earlier in year I decided to give this another go, as I heard it was under new management What a huge difference, staff could not do enough to assist, and we had quite an enjoyable meal. Would certainly recommend anyone having had previous poor service here,to give this another go

Disgusting stay well clear. Veg under cooked meat over cooked. Worst carvery I've ever had. Will not be returning.

Visited on a quiet Thursday tea time and sat in the nice and warm conservatory Didn't have starters but enjoyed a corned beef pie with chips and peas, my wife had a hunters chicken dish, my son had chicken nuggets. Tasty and hot food and lovely chips. Chocolate fudge cake and a brownie for dessert - again no complaints Prices... More

On entering, a gushing female waitress welcomed us saying we could have our choice of table - the place was empty. My wife ordered cod with peas and chips; I asked for a mushroom omelette, with side salad and a separate serving of 'proper' chips, as opposed to the 'skinny' version on offer. Food came quickly enough but both meals... More

Apparently under new management we frequented regularly for their excellent sunday lunch PRIOR TO THE NEW MANAGEMENT TAKING OVER. My goodness, this place has gone from hero to zero with the change. The sunday lunch was about as tasty as a rubber tyre. The staff were more interested in talking to themselves and the wine was absolutely awful. No taste,... More

I figured after the rave debacle of the place I'd go when it was quiet....noticed the play area for kids was fixed...looks nice if its kept up... Wrong...boring no life...beer awful...staff to busy chatting to notice other customers....pass Unfortunately there isn't a minus option for the rating on trip adv

We have passed the Floaters many times and always meant to try the place. The acquisition of a Sun-fm discount dining voucher finally enticed us in. Place was quiet and we ordered our food and waited and waited and waited. After half an hour our order taker rushed up to the table and apologised as the order had not transferred... More

Food is terrible, service even worse. Left due to the wait and still made to pay for the drinks!!! Disgusting, this place used to be lovely, not any more. Not the owners fault, they weren't even aware. Rest of staff terrible and chef is just wrong.

Was good but found the plates were too small to fit the carvery on and the kids plates were tiny too . The food was nice but not exceptional ☺
