Lovely setting, cosy and welcoming. Excellent menu where you are spoilt for choice! Staff are very friendly and attentive. Food delicious and most impressively delivered at the same time, despite us being a large family group!

I usually go for the steak but this time had fish and chips. WOW. All the beers are good but my favourite is the Shropshire Gold. As always the staff were lovely and gave great service.

The Gold is good, so is the Timothy Taylors! Actually all our beers are good. And all our staff are good too! Thanks for the review.

It's a 15th century free house which serves wonderful food. I really enjoyed their garlic bread with cheese and their slow cooked barbecue chicken. It was great to be served food on a plate rather than a chopping board, on a roof tile or in...More

We love dogs, but we aren't equipped to handle them inside the restaurant.
How many vegetarian dishes do you have also will you be extra busy this Fri St Patrick S day

Response from John T | Property representative |
We have two vegetarian choices - goats cheese wellington & cheddar & nutloaf (my favorite). We arent doing anything special for St Patricks so why not ring and make a booking (01270524223), you wont be disappointed.
