Good solid menu, my steak and friends duck was cooked how requested. Good drink selection, staff polite, but maybe a bit more education as to what the food is they are selling. Would certainly return and recommend others to eat here.

Very pleasant greeting from the staff. It was a bitterly cold day and how nice to have a blazing fire as a welcome. There is a great selection of ales and we tried the Christmas one which was excellent. There were four of us and...More

Arrived 1230. Got drinks in. Placed food order. Icecaps melted. Day became night. Ate my hand. Nibbled a beer mat. Left. We were still the third ticket for the kitchen to do, and they made us pay for the drinks. AVOID
