This was the best food I have eaten for a long time! Quiche with salad has never been this good! Perfect !

We came across Chris and Lisa and their wonderful food during the lockdown period, when we started ordering from their "dine at home" menu. We've also enjoyed eating in the garden since things have opened up, but we are still regulars for the "dine at...home". Everything is freshly made, the fish dishes are fabulous and my wife counts the quiche pastry as the best she has tasted. All in all it's an absolute jewel, food is great, owners and staff are very friendly, we cannot recommend this place highly enough.More

The is breakfast and lunch venue now, as it does not open in the evening. The menu is expensive but the food is high quality, and wine is available by the glass. I am not personally keen on the decor inside but the garden area...is superb for outdoor dining. The garden is quite sheltered and there are plenty of canopies to protect you from the odd shower. Highly recommend for a delicious brunch or lunch.More

Stopped for Lunch , super food, & service and looked after our dogs on the terrace even though the weather was atrocious, Was very surprised by the last review as even in our opinion this is not a suitable establishment for a group of wet...through cyclists! We are looking forward to our next visit hopefully with sunshine.More

Arrived in the rain looking for coffee and cake. Owner banged on the window pointing and shouting not to lean the bike on wall. Tried to walk up ally out of rain rain to rear of building but a woman came came out shouting again....Told us that we were not allowed to come in with wet shoes as would ‘tear up the floor’. Best thing was a very approachable place a few doors down. Go there instead & avoid the miserable owners. I suspect that’s why the place was empty.More

2nd visit to this gorgeous place. Food as wonderful as the staff, nothing too much trouble and they made our dog very welcome. Garden is beautiful, all in all a very memorable visit, will certainly dine there again when we are in the area..

Tipped up for lunch, and it was very busy, a table for four wasn't looking promising. However, Lisa moved some tables around and we were sorted in no time. I'd thoroughly recommend the burger! locally sourced, topped with bacon, and onion chutney, perfectly cooked and...very tasty!More

A lovely lunch stop while we were on our bike ride. The food was fresh and good portions - we enjoyed a lovely selection of sandwiches and soup. The team were very friendly and knowledgeable. We hope to pass through again soon!

This is my second time reviewing The Dining Room. I took my daughter and two grandsons today they had never been before. She couldn't believe how beautiful the garden was...like been abroad. The food is the best my boys said the burgers were the best...ever!! And Chris and Lisa are the best hosts. Highly recommend it the garden is Boroughbridges hidden gem.More

We called into this welcoming restaurant on a miserable and wet mid week day, but were soon warmed up and enjoying one of the best meals we have had in a long time. The two waitresses were exceptionally pleasant and efficient. We were brought some...lovely home made bread and butter - I could have sat and eaten just that it was so tasty. Our three meals were served on hot plates (always a winner with me!) We had Sea Bass, Scampi and King prawns and oak roast salmon - and all were top notch and delicious. The tea came with hot water to top it up as we relaxed and had a wonderful lunch time. We shall be back, thank you.More

Fantastic reception from very friendly staff who couldn't do enough for my little granddaughter (16 months). The food was delicious and although the menu made it look ordinary it was anything but, served to exceptional standards - thank you very much for our belated Mothers...Day get togetherMore
