Great restaurant for excellent Thai food. Starter platter to share was great, as were Chicken dishes. Not so fond of the squid. Book in advance at busy times. Luxury hotel prices, but very well served.

Budget for 1000THB for 2 people(without drinks). Tried Papaya Salad, Pineapple Rice and Fish cakes. All dishes were prepared v nicely. Service was quick and prompt. Book your table in advance as it gets crowded at dinner time

Calm ambience with lovely views over the lagoon. Excellent seafood (which you can choose before its cooked), and amazing Thai curries. Loved it so much we ate here twice.

Good Location and Staff but food was expensive and not that great and bit pricy. There was traditional live music which was really good.

We ate there twice. Pricing-wise, it is definitely higher than other restaurants within the resort area and compared to those outside. Serving sizes are not large but very delicious. As a Thai restaurant, the spread of dishes is wide. It is only open for dinner. Reservations can be made though we do not think it is necessary. Located near the... More

The prices at Baan Talay are typical of a hotel restaurant (i.e. more expensive than elsewhere) but the service and atmosphere make it worth splashing out on. I couldn't find any fault with the service - the staff were so friendly and enthusiastic from the moment we walked in the door. The beef massaman was delicious - not totally authentic... More

The ambience was very good and the food even better. The service staff were attentive and kept checking with us if the food was alright. I ordered the TomYum soup, omelette with prawns and crabmeat, and the soft shell crab with pomelo salad. Good choices as they were all VERY GOOD. A bit pricey however worth the splurge.

Service was great as is to be expected, the food was good, but the portions were very small we thought.

Ok so we were fortunate enough that this restaurant is at our hotel, nice place to look at, typically lovely hospitality from the staff and LOVELY food! Massaman curry was really a great great dish, spicy and sweet balanced beautifully, thicker version than some other places which I loved We loved our meal and as we are guests at the... More
