I’ve visited Lakeside multiple times now and it never fails to disappoint. It’s a great place for a coffee and a catch up, weekend brunch or evening dinner. Watching the water sports or the live music adds a great little extra to this unique venue....I’d recommend booking a table as it gets busy! The service is friendly and efficient, and the food has greatly improved in recent years. Couldn’t recommend more.More

Saturday Brunch

I booked a table for Saturday brunch during our weekend away. We arrived to a friendly welcome and were seated quickly, when we ordered we got offered a table by the window that had just vacated; We gladly moved to allow us to sit and...enjoy the beautiful lake views in the sunshine - thank you! I ordered the GF pancakes and my partner ‘The Lakeside’ breakfast and they were able to make this DF and had oat milk for him to enjoy a coffee. Our meals took a little while to arrive, but they were very busy, we had asked for dietary amendments and we didn’t mine sitting and enjoying the views :) Our meals were enjoyed and we thought the bill was very good for our brunch. Total cost £25 - GF Pancakes, bacon & maple syrup Coca Cola DF The Lakeside breakfast Oat flat white Thank you for a lovely brunch with amazing views :)More

Terrible food but nice service

Can’t fault the service but awful food. Clearly the people who rated this place 5 stars for the food don’t have great standards. I had the croquettes to start, cold in the middle, so not cooked properly….. then the chimichurri chicken which tasted like fish...(?!) served over some extremely oily chips. Probably a better venue for drinks as the location is nice, just wouldn’t recommend to eat here.More

Fantastic place, our favourite.

Always great service, a lovely young lass served us, fantastic setting in the Autumn sunshine, sat outside watching the boat doing watersports. Very good food and drinks.

Go for a lovely breakfast!

I think this may be one of the best breakfasts we’ve had out! Everything was cooked perfectly, and of high quality for a reasonable price! The staff were very friendly and this is a lovely spot watching the water sports! Would 100% come back if...I’m the area.More

Friendly Service and Good Food

Had a lovely 2 course meal here while staying in the Cotswolds. The mussels were cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly and helpful and service quick. It has a very cosy feel to it with fairy lights and tea light candles on the tables....Chocolate brownie was also very good and they allowed me to swap the cream for ice cream. We ate in the dark so couldn't see the lake but would imagine on light summer evenings, would be a lovely view, would definitely like to visit again in the summer!More

27th birthday on the lake

Fantastic place. Went there with my friends for 27th birthday for the water activities and it was a great day. Staff are great and the owner is very accommodating. Would go again in a heartbeat

Was told to go somewhere else but this looked good over a lake, great setting, but staff not great, food if you can call it that was less than I would of excepted for the price. Should of listened to google reviews for this area....Had a great meal the next day.More

Good start to the day

Chance call in for breakfast - friendly and helpful welcome - chose table inside by window with view over the water (able to watch the inflatable riders bounce by behind the speedboat) - enjoyed quality food and coffee - very fair pricing for the offering...and the location - will look to visit again next time in the area.More

Perfect or lunch

Love it!

We love visiting here either for just drinks or food. Lovely venue. Our server Katie was lovely, friendly and made recommendations which we both had & thoroughly enjoyed. Service was excellent. My boyfriend had the seafood curry- he wished the portion could have been larger....I had half of chicken which was tasty & moist and plenty of it. Definitely recommend a visit.More

Great food but service could be better

Excellent food, all fresh and well made! Only thing that lets it down is the service drops when the bar gets busier - they could do with some more waiting staff. We had to go up to the bar to order our desserts and also...pay the bill at a separate point, which makes the indoor area congested. We weren’t the only party stood up waiting to pay because the waiting staff weren’t really on it. Aside from that a really good meal and would be one to revisit!More
