We turned up unexpectedly to the green man, 6 and a new born on mass. We were greeted by a lovely lady who seated just behind the entrance. My first impression was that the food that they were serving was looking mighty fine. We were...More

We ended up at this pub by way of no room at the cherry tree up the road. I rang and asked if they had a table for seven people, the answer was a very responsive yes! Parked in the car park, which is small...More

Called in at The Green man for a weekday lunch. Good selection of items on the menu. When it came the food was well cooked and presented but we did have to wait quite a while, however better to have a wait a bit than...More

Can hardly believe the previous reviews as our experience did not in any way reflect good food. Steak was over cooked, fish goujons, reheated several times, chips lukewarm at best. All day breakfast cold, unfortunately nothing positive about the food at all. Would of complained...More

Called in for a quick drink before heading to our hotel for the weekend. Then the other half realised his favourite cask ale was on! That was it for the next two hours. Lovely bar area and seemed busy with locals. We sat outside as...More

So, went in here expecting standard pub fare but got a fantastic pie, and some nice beer. The guy at the bar, on his own, couldn't have done more, he was brilliant! The steak and ale pie was magnificent. Only criticism - and its a...More

Here at the Green Man, we pride ourselves on delivering a great customer experience within our fantastic pub. Our staff are looking forward to serving you with our new fantastic range of drinks and substantial new menu of pub classics. We have everything covered. Enjoy relaxing in our bar trying our new cask ales whilst watching the live sports events, or out in the large beer garden with a refreshing bottle of fizz. Our new menu will certainly not disappoint and our various food offers will ensure you come back throughout the week. The little ones are catered for also with a children's menu to keep them full and free crayons to colour in pictures. We love to see babies and children at the table with their parents, however we are not a high energy kids pub and children will need to be supervised by an adult at all times both inside the pub and in the garden area.
