We were a group of 7 going for a meal here. Two families, with 6 kids. Although, most places weren’t offering food, due to the World Cup playing, they did accommodate us. We had our own private dining room, where we were offered a good...More

A quick drink with friends in their very atmospheric pub. It's one of the last staffing in Whutchurch that used to have many. It's the only pub with a proper beer garden. Though that is being downgraded due to financial worries.

We had an average meal here a couple of weeks ago. It was not worth the money. See my previous review for what the place used to be. The owners have now decided to stop serving food, so you needn't really worry about the quality...More

Very disappointing roast dinner. The beef was over cooked and very tough. The creamed cabbage was completely inedible. The choice of vegetables was very limited. The service was incredibly slow, it took 25-30 minutes for each course to be served. We will not be returning.

Meeting up with family - great beers, lovely garden (although steps a bit much for old legs) - however, menu varied, food great and excellent value. Very relaxed, would recommend.
