Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We enjoyed a tasty lunch here. The menu was excellent value for money and there were choices for each course. Wine was included. The service was friendly and efficient and the dining room was tastefully decorated and welcoming. I will definitely come back again.

Le Vieux Porche is now under the management of Sabrina and her partner, who worked there for many years under the previous owners. The same great menu at a fabulous price, nothing much has changed so far. €14.80 for a starter of soup, hors d'oeuvres,...main course and dessert, include a large carafe of red wine! Good choices on the menu. Friendly, smiling welcome in a very pleasant ambience We shall be back frequently. Closed on Saturdays, otherwise open every day.More

We first ‘found’ this restaurant when we had a holiday home nearby, 15 years ago. It soon became a favourite place. Now we live here full-time, we are regular diners. The food is constantly great and the service excellent. Thank you for the past 15...years of lovely memories. A great place to meet friends or to take visitors.More

Absolute must if you are in the area. Busy at lunch with both workers and we’ll heeled. Value for money is second to none. House wine by the gallon and very drinkable.

This place was recommended to me by the barber in Eymet. On arriving wasn't sure. But the food was great. Only 14 euros for four courses and a litre of red wine between the four of us. When we had polished that off another one...appeared. Warning get here early at lunchtime as an awful lot of workers seem to meet here for lunch so tables go quickly.More

As usual, this restaurant did not disappoint. Sunday lunch is always good, and the food is of a high enough standard for us to not harp on about how cheap it is! The cold red wine is both....cold and not very nice but the rosé...is a worthwhile substitute. Far too miserable to sit on the terrace on our second visit, but we were quickly and efficiently moved inside - with plenty os 'covid' spacing.More

This traditional French restaurant has a great ambiance, a very friendly welcome and atmosphere, and efficient service. This has to be one of my favourite restaurants we have eaten here a few times with friends at lunchtimes over the past 4.5 years and only very...recently. Amazing value for money, from €13.00 for 4 courses including a large carafe of good quality house red wine, plenty of choice, and plenty of food, This restaurant consistently serves good quality excellent food, very delicious and the service always friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this place for a lunchtime meal.More

We visited this restaurant for a mid-week lunch and were treated to a very good very inexpensive four course meal including wine. We opted for their €13 menu which comprised soup, starter, main course and cheese or dessert with a carafe of red wine. In...addition to the basic meal you can also had certain upgrades in the variety of dishes. I added fish soupe with all the trimmings in lieu of their normal soup, followed by foie gras in lieu of the normal starters - two of my favourite dishes. We both had confit de canard with chips and salad as our main course although there were several other options available. We concluded with cheese for me and ice cream for my wife with coffees for both of us. All in all a much better meal than we had anticipated and we will definitely go back for a further visit. Service was a bit slow as the restaurant was very well supported and there were several parties who arrived before us.More

We had been told about this restaurant a couple of times and now regret taking so long to visit. Four courses and wine for 12,50€ is incredible value and the quality of the food is excellent. The best chips we have had in ages, and...good portions, neither of us managed to finish them or have room for dessert. Looking forward to going back on a Wednesday, which is Couscous day apparently, and popular so it is recommended to book.More
