A charming 18th century inn offering delicious food and a warm welcome. Family-run and with a reputation for good, honest, traditional fare. Diners love old-favourites like steak pie, fresh battered cod or liver and bacon with onions. Dishes like lasagne verdi, home-cooked ham and chips and chicken curry are always very popular. Then we've several vegetarian options on our Full Menu. 'Dishes of the day' are featured on our specials board throughout the year, as well as a very tempting range of mostly home-made puddings and desserts. We visited the Greyhound for lunch with my mother and sister.
The welcome from the staff was great, being met outside and taken to our prebooked table. We decided to eat inside as it was very warm but the outside dining area looked great.

Kells and her staff are amazingly friendly and attentive, you are made to feel so welcome.
Our dog received likewise attention and they even produced a blanket for her to sit on in the bar!
