Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really lovely lunch for 12 of us in family. Warm welcome and impressive waitress who memorised all our orders and got everything spot on. Really delicious food. Lovely to sit out in sunshine. Heaven. Thank you!

Wonderful food, great service. Lovely spot sat out in the sun on their terrace. It’s a busy place so worth booking if you are a big group. Nothing was too much trouble. Braised beef was amazing.

We planned ahead and booked for Christmas Day and we were not disappointed. The lady in charge is really welcoming and remembered our phone call and our pidgeon French. The restaurant is very busy, but the staff are really attentive. The food was so tasty...and has different menu options that many on the slopes do not offer. We will definitely book againMore

What an absolutely wonderful place. The owner is simply one of the kindest, most attentive hosts you could possibly wish for. The food was great - we had the trio of goats cheese washed down with a French cider. It was way, way better that...you would expect for what is ultimately, a tourist attraction. Seriously, don’t waste your time going to any other restaurant in Le Petit Lindaret - if the food and atmosphere aren’t enough, the restaurant dog is divine!More

Stopped for a spot of lunch. We thought we'd try the tartiflette. The food was good along with the service. Not the cheapest place by all means.

As usual, we made the Chaudron our preferred lunch destination. The portions are generous and the menu is a refreshing change from the usual alpine restaurant fare. Fresh ingredients, brasserie style great wine list. The service was great, the welcome friendly. Sandie and Vincent are...uncompromising in their approach to quality. The place can get busy as it is extremely popular. Great terrace with plenty of sun, it's the first restaurant on the right as you entre the "goat village" reservations recommended, especially for the earlier service.More

Distinctly Average. The village itself has some nice views, and I opted to sit outside to enjoy the weather and people watch, but was put in the far corner with a barrier blocking my view and I had to ask to be moved. The service...was good generally but the food was distinctly average, and in line with the generally over inflated restaurants prices for the area. Expect to pay 21€ for an average burger. I opted for the set menu which was okay, quite underwhelming, and the fruit salad I finished with was absolutely not fresh. Would I go back? Most probably not. It wasn't terrible, but I left feeling underwhelmed and resentful of paying such high prices for average food.More

We visited the “goat village” of Les Lindarets on a sunny summers Saturday and had a spot of lunch at Le Chaudron whilst there. We arrived at 15.30 which was quite late for lunch but we were welcomed with open arms by the Chaudron’s staff....We had the very tasty cornflake chicken and chips (kids meal) to share between three of us as a starter. For mains, two of us has the traditional Alpinific calorific tartiflette and the other had the beef salad. The portions for every dish were very generous. The food tasted fresh and the service was quick and friendly. Prices were pretty reasonable too, we paid €40 each and this included 5 pints of lager. Would definitely recommend this place and we’ll make a point of going back there during the winter season.More

We booked Le Chaudron in Linderets for lunch in the middle of our ski trip to Morzine. When we arrived at the restaurant the staff were fantastic. The menu was full of local dishes with some classics thrown in. There were 11 of us and...the weather wasn't great so we had a table prepped for us inside where there was plenty of room to hang our lids, gloves, backpacks and jackets to dry out while the enjoying some ghoulash (outrageous :-)), lasagna, chicken ceaser and a glass or two o MIP. We have already booked to go back again in March! If you want to go.... give them a call and book a table - you don't want to miss out!More

Great Terrace in the sun, perfect quality food, great service and quite rapid, animal friendly, and easily accessible, and a small hill to climb for children and have a small snowball fight with friends or to-be-friends. Quite difficult to find a disadvantage. Top Notch!

Have been here many times over the years. An interesting place for an outdoor lunch if it's warm enough. They can easily seat large groups (may use 2 long tables). Good is good and service is good as well

Well worth a detour just below the Linderette bowl to the goats village. Eat inside or outside out but the menu is great. I had goulash with was first class & meaty but the ribs, stew and burgers all looked exceptional also. Blankets provided outside...so lovely in the afternoon sun.More
