Whether on the trails or on the road stop in for some good food, great conversation and a very friendly staff. I have always enjoyed this place so you should too!

This is an out of the way place near Algonquin Provincial Park. It's a quirky little place with a bar, high tables with bar stools, and some unusual decor. The menu is small, which is fine. They had good burgers, onion rings and fries. Waiter was very nice and service was good.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Lots of menu options. Friendly staff. Food was good. Very cool place. Funky decor with a lot of vintage signs and licence plates.

This restaurant has been a regular stop for my husband and I for a few years now when we've been heading in or out of Algonquin Park. They always have good food and good service without fail.

This is just before the western entrance to Algonquin Park. We stopped for a late lunch expecting to get a sandwich, if we were lucky. Instead we met an amazing man who was willing to cook us anything. We chose a vegetarian sandwich, and a philly cheese melt (opposite tastes !!), with fries. Both meals were AMAZING. The owner has... Did our usual stop after a grueling 8 days of portaging and canoeing and three of us ordered the John Candy Bufger and one Philly Steak sandwhich and the entire fair was great. Service alortle slow but the home made burger are worth the wait. Going back for an October canoe trip and will most likely stop the on our... More

My husband and I stopped into this restaurant about 4 hours into our 6 hour trip last night...we knew it would be pub grub. We were there about 9:00 p.m. My husband is in a wheelchair and the place is not very accessible. He couldn't use the bathroom because you had to go downstairs, we weren't able to sit in... More

We have been here several times. The owner Mario, is a great guy, friendly and eager to please. The one side is a bar-like atmosphere and the other is more for families. There is a good selection on the menu and everything is homemade. TVs and music also

Since it began life as Slim's Texaco and Café during the early 1960s, this has been a popular spot both for locals and for visitors to the area. Rather funky décor with very good basic cuisine. Family friendly as well as welcoming for motorcyclists.
