Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely restaurant with beautiful views over the golf course Our group of 5 could not fault the food . Everything was really nice. The staff were very friendly and attentive checking everything was ok and asking if we needed anything else. Always smiling there was...a lady called Sandra and a younger girl called Abi they are both very good at what they do Even the chef who was in the open kitchen smiled and said hello when we arrived We will definitely be back again.More

We went as a family group for Mother's Day. Louis the restaurant manager was very helpful from start to finish and accommodated us to a table we requested. The service was very good and the food (Roast Dinners) were wonderful. Everything that came out of...the kitchen was hot and satisfying. Brilliant! 🌟More

Food was fantastic and topped off with fabulous service! Table of 16 for a Birthday party and we were looked after superbly. Went above and beyond to ensure allergies were catered for. Credit to the staff as Hurslton has improved immeasurably in the last 6...months. Keep it up!More

Booked for my sons 15th birthday for 8 of us. I am a member so love this place anyway but I cannot thank all of the staff enough who served us last night and the lady I spoke to in the morning who arranged the...most perfect table with a gorgeous view for us. Food was fab, service was fab and I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you so much and thank you for singing happy birthday to my son - such as special touch :)More

We have a regular breakfast club at the Scullery every Monday morning with about 8 friends, I just want to commend Luis the front of house manager. Nothing is too much trouble, he is always very obliging and very attentive, but this morning he was...overloaded with customers wanting to be served, but he wasn't phased and was extremely professional in his approach to inpatient customers. It was a joy to watch him in action. We love our Monday mornings and bacon butties . Long may it continue. We had a 3 hour session today putting the world to rights in beautiful surroundings.More

We had a great family meal on Friday, my partner even commented that the Hurlston Burger was the best burger he had had. Pizza are a bit hit as well, the BBQ chicken pizza was delicious, many thanks to the chefs. Kids were entertained with...coloring and word searches. Staff were great and attentive and nothing was to much trouble, we look forward to coming back soon.More

Not normally one for writing reviews but I couldn’t not this time. We normally come at least once a month as the service is outstanding the staff are so chatty it makes our day. This will be the last visit for a while as we...was just about to leave after a great meal and we witnessed a chef needlessly swearing at one of the waitresses. Such a shame as we really enjoy coming here for the good food and staff.More

We went here as a family for Easter Sunday lunch having been the previous year and thoroughly enjoyed it. However this year was completely different . Firstly it lacked atmosphere being only a few tables of guests . The meal took a while to arrive...but when it did it was dreadful and inedible . We opted for the roast lamb as there was no other choice except for a vegetarian option. The Yorkshire pudding was stone cold and burned, the lamb was undercooked and very fatty and some of the vegetables were undercooked . To summarise it looked awful on the plates. Looking round at the few other tables everyone felt the same as there was so much food left on everyone's plates. They advertised there being a face painter for the children , which there werent . There were 2 girl entertainers who did their best to entertain the children. To sum up I feel that it was a waste of nearly £400.00 for our party and certainly won't be going anymore.More

Payed a visit to the scullery, and whilst I could not fault the food or the service, the managers disgusting attitude toward the staff made our experience unbearable. The manager ‘Lee Williams’ I believe, spoke to the young waitress in such a disrespectful and patronising...manner that it not only upset my party, but I could see other parties around me being made uncomfortable. We shall not be returning whilst this man is still employed, which is such a shame as we really enjoyed our meal however wont put up with that behaviour from management.More
