We spent a nice day on Eriskay when the weather was superb. Scenery was superb. Pub was good with a good look to it. Food nice sea Ed by good staff. Great location. Highly recommended. Made famous by the Whisky Galore film.

We came here based on the positive reviews found on this website and we were not disappointed ! The food was fresh and excellent, the atmosphere relaxed and friendly and the staff was really helpful. I will definitely come back next time I'm around !

There are plenty of benches outside of you wish to eat outdoors. However Am Politician also allows dogs in the bar area if they are well behaved.

Hi, if you're staying on Barra, you'd need to get the ferry across to Eriskay, then walk the mile to the Politician. Its signposted from the road, but its probably shorter walking a more direct route
