Went for dinner mid week, still very busy. Food was lovely as were the staff. There doesn't seem to be many good Indians restaurants locally so very popular.

This place was rammed the night before Good Friday in every imaginable way; queues into the car park, people queuing for tables, people queuing for a takeaway pick up. I mention this as a good thing as it's a sign of good food and clearly the locals have taken note. Had a cracking takeaway for 15 people and all was... More
I'm going to keep this brief - it's much easier to write a good review after all. Everything was good. Service was very good, food was excellent - just the right amount. My only relatively minor grouse was being next to the wall by the loo entrance. It wasn't the comings and goings....it was bashing my elbow on said wall!... More
Was staying nearby and selected new spice to order for 5 friends. Website was fairly easy to use in conjunction with paper brochure we found however we ended up calling to complete our payment. Arrived at the restaurant, lots of parking space off the road and warm welcome via the restaurant entrance. Staff were super busy, this is a popular... More
Had a great meal here last night for our 15 year old twins birthday celebrations. I mentioned on the phone it was their birthday and when we arrived they had put up a birthday banner and put confetti on the table which was v kind of them. It's the little things! Food was superb and it was also Tuesday night... More
We had just arrived for a few days break staying locally . Read a few reviews both on TripAdvisor & feed back book at cottage we are staying at. Was staying nearby and was recommended this restaurant, Saturday night so busy but we got a table within 15 minutes. Food was superb, minted lamb dish was best I have had in a long while. Slight downside was very slow taking orders and then wait for food but they were busy and the food cooked to perfection so delays acceptable.
Ordered takeaway for 7 was given a time to pick up but they were so busy we had to wait for an extra 20 minutes which was not a problem on this occasion. The food was very good with nice portion sizes and nice and hot. There is a very good variable menu so something for all even if you... More
Surprise 50th Catered for 20 guests despite being full Meal as per normal was spot on All served together and all came out hot One of the best Indian Restaurants in Sussex. If you have not been you have missed out. Can't wait till next visit...! :-)
If you want consistently good food, exceptional service and to be made to feel very welcome, this restaurant is a must. We are lucky that as well as all of the above, it happens to be right on our doorstep. We eat regularly in London and the New Spice ranks amongst any of them for quality. It must - because... More
