Twelve of us from Thailand were on a six day group tour of Taiwan and every day we were having a multiple course Chinese lunch or dinner wherever we travelled. The standard was anything up to 12, 13 or 14 dishes placed on the "lazy...susan" on our round table for us to help ourselves. Many of the restaurants blurred together because of their ordinariness But Wan Lin in Taipei on Day Five stood out. It was definitely a cut above the others. We had a total of 15 courses, plus a complementary platter of fresh fruit at the end. Dishes included fish, prawns, seafood, pork, chicken, steamed and stir fried vegetables, and rice.More
