At first sight I thought this was only a bar and therefore kept on passing by. Friends recommended this cafe to us and we were actually surprised with how good their food were. We ordered a few starters for the table just to have a snack there and everything was very well prepared. Not to oily as you would sometimes... More

The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and is ideal for a family outing. A clown entertained the smaller kids while the adults were socialising. But ... Restroom is horrible.

Very rustic but was packed out for lunch when we were there. All the fish and chip varieties looked excellent - highly recommend the hake

This place is far from fussy and fancy...but the food is good. The prawns were yummy...and the locals come regularly for the fish and chips. A variety of dishes were ordered and no complaints! Service was fairly fast, everyone was very polite! I say, if in the area, give it a try!

Had two good meals here.Situated right on the harbour and as there is always something going on the harbour while you enjoy your meal. The place might look dubious but it is not. For some real local flavour try this place

We had just seated when the owner/manager made it VERY clear that we were not welcome with him. Other patrons were horrified to see us leave and said they could not understand the... More

Spent a few months in the area and visited frequently for fish and chips. Each time the fish and chips were very good (hake). One tip I can give is to ask for crispy fish and crispy chips. It seems soggy chips are very popular!! Staff always pleasant.

We ordered a seafood platter for 1 that my little daughter and I shared, my husband and his Mom ordered a meal each. The food was oily, and the service took long, with terse waiters. We were given three mints when the bill came, because we ordered three meals

on the best spot possible (quiet and picturesque view on the local harbour) e enjoyed fish and chips and a perfect local wine which made us decide to visit the winery. However, hard it was to leave this perfect spot. Could stay a full weekend her and enjoy the local life,
