We had lunch here as a family today. Absolutely outstanding ! Cracking wine-list. The lamb kidney starter was delicious, as was the scallop dish. For mains, my Mum had battered Hake & chips, which she loved. My wife & I shared the Surf & Turf...platter, and it was incredible !! Our daughter polished off the moules from it 😂. Fantastic service, great quality food. Lovely ambience. Friendly people. Just great !More

We ate lunch at the Rib and Oyster today. We choose the Tapas option as never had Tapas before. 4 dishes for £20 Couldn't fault it. Staff were very friendly, the service was great. The food was fresh and simple and delicious. One of my...favourite meals so far in a lovely environment.More

Visited with froends on Sunday whilst staying in Tenby for the rugby. Firstly the staff, the 2 waitresses front of house could not do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was outstanding, we had a selection of tapas for...starters each dish was as nice as the other. Then the 6 of us had the sharing platter….WOW! Outstanding produce and such good value for money. The selection of fresh fish and steak was sublime I honestly couldn’t choose what was the nicest item on the platter Can’t wait to go back!!!More

Not very impressed. Went there for daughter’s wedding and was good. This time was poor, starter was good, main was average with mushy peas plastered all over the potatoes. The menu didn’t mention mushy peas, if it had I would have told them that I...would give the peas a miss. The specials deal was bread and butter pudding or raspberry and peach crumble. Didn’t fancy either but on the board was toffee cheese cake for the same price £8.50, but was not offered this option so just had 1 scoop of ice cream!!!! £8.50 is a bit expensive for a scoop of ice cream. My wife had the crumble and it was burnt so she didn’t eat it. We mentioned to the waitress and she said she would tell the chef. Shame we had a less than average experience, as this place did have a decent reputation. Won’t bother again, there plenty of good restaurants in the area.More

Went to Rib & Oyster tonight with my partner for dinner, it was our first ever visit. WOW what a little gem this restaurant is. There was only us two dining as we were booked in early at 5.45 pm , the ambiance is lovely,...really good music playing in the background, the restaurant is lit with pretty lights everywhere and decorated beautifully. The lady attending to us was lovely, warm and friendly and efficient. We chose a good selection of tapas dishes and shared a cheesecake. I moved to Pembrokeshire a year ago and I can honestly say this is the best food I have had up to now. It was reasonably priced, excellent quality. Thankyou so much we had the best time, highly recommended!More

Absolutely lovely little restaurant. My husband, my son and myself came for a meal a couple of nights ago. They were happy for our dog to sit in the corner on his rug and gave him lots of fuss (v dog friendly). The staff were...friendly and offered advice when we had a couple of questions about the menu choice. We ordered the surf and turf fish platter(rib eye option) for my hubby and me, my son chose tapas and garlic bread with cheese. The food arrived together nice and hot. WOW, it was gorgeous! Perfectly cooked tasty steak, mussels, lobster and king prawns, Sea bream was delicious (I'm going to have to try cooking it!) Light crispy onion rings..... Everything was spot on. I pinched a bit of sons garlic bread, it was as delicious as everything else. Being tourists, we didn't know any local taxi companies so we asked for a recommendation, with that the waitress offered to organize our taxi. Another bonus. Desert..... Mmmmmm..... Sticky toffee pudding and ice cream for me. One of the best I've ever tasted. We'll definitely be back when we visit the area again. In fact hubby walked back with the dog the next day to stock up on food to take back home with us lol! Ps could I be cheeky and ask you give me the recipe for the sea bream please? ,😋More

What an amazing lunch. Tapas menu is 4 small plates for £20. A huge variety and choice for pescatarians and meat eaters. Service with a smile. The restaurant is close to the fresh meat and fish counter of this bustling place. We gained a lot...of tips from the answers given to customers questions about cooking various fish and cuts of meat - fascinating. No only was the lunch fabulous we even bought super quality fish and meat home - with cooking instructions.More

We chose to dine here as the hotel we were saying at The Grove restaurant wasn’t open. The website has some amazing photos of the food on offer so it was an easy choice. On arrival the restaurant could be at best described as a cafe....We don’t mind rough and ready so this wasn’t an issue. There was a strong smell of fish which we were surprised fresh fish doesn’t smell. The disappointment was the menu has been changed to a Tapas one albeit with limited fish and meat. We live in Spain so we would not have chosen to dine here as no one does Tapas like the Spanish !Struggling for choice having paid our £20 deposit we decided to have four tapas and drinks . Our order had to be changed twice as not all the dishes were available. Extremely unprofessional. The tapas arrived but not as described on the menu. We just wanted to leave and go elsewhere for some edible food. Not to much to ask. The staff we encountered were inattentive. Such a shame that the website has major inaccuracies.More

We ate on 10th January 2024. We ordered the platter. It took quite a while to arrive which I didn't mind as I knew there a lot of elements within the dish. The chips arrived which were lovely & hot/fresh. The main arrived & a...short while later a bowl with a liquid with which Initially I thought was the Blue Cheese sauce to accompany the steak. I started with the mussels which were nice. Warm but not hot. I then moved onto the Lobster which was cold. The Steak was medium rare which I appreciate will not be hot but this was also cold. I was determined to enjoy the meal as my daughter booked & was paying however the Cod was also cold & the skin very unpleasant. I looked at the sauce as I thought if it was hot I could pour it into the dish however on looking it was a Yellow clear mixture with slices of Lemon which I believe was to pour over the Cod. This was not pleasant & again was cold. I finished my drink before starting the meal & put my glass to the end of the table & despite the staff going passed & talking with othet diners one of whom also had a birthday we were not asked if we wanted another drink for the whole time we were there. The was another lady who also had a birthday was chatted to & she also had a little surprise with a candle in it brought out to her. I didn't expect any of this but to be asked if I wanted another drink would have been nice. We never received the Blue Cheese Sauce even though we were charged for it. I was so upset I just wanted to leave & to try & make the best of what was left of the day . I am bitterly disappointed in my dining experience as well as the service. The restaurant wasn't full & some had already dined prior to our arrival so I do not think this would have impacted on the chef. I cannot recommend the restaurant & will never return which is a real shame. The meal cost in excess of £130.More

Honestly the best platter I have ever had! Luckily for us Monkfish was the fish of the day and the Ribeye steak we had was cooked to perfection. We have been back a few times since as well for Sunday dinner- absolutely stunning!

The rear car park has room for a max of 4 cars - when I visited there was one space left. Other responses here give good alternatives.
