It is a must in Busseto if you are in this area. Amazing Ambience and atmosphere and the food is superb. Great experience and people are friendly as only in Italy can be.

I was brought here by an Italian friend earlier this week and was so so glad he decided to take me. The restaurant is cosy and rustic (and quite small so I would recommend booking in advance) with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. We had a basket of fresh white bread and a big platter of parmesan cheese, salami,... More

I come from a nearby town and have always known the exceptional quality of this place. Back home for holiday with my boyfriend I brought him here for a late afternoon snack... he was amazed: wine is still served in large bowls, as was tipical to the region, and there is a good selection of delicious local produce. We had... More

We didn't realize that the only food available were different types of salami. What was strange was that there was no silverware, you eat with your hands. The food was delicious and they are all hand cut paper thin. Served with 4 different condiments. The bread served was a bit stale and no flavor. The decorations were very electric. It... More

What to expect? No dishes, no table sheets, no cutlery. Wine severely to drink in ceramic white cups. Little tasting from small cups of sauces made of veggies, tomatoes, hot pepperoni with anchovies and capperi. White bread with a proper tray full of cold cuts from the local area such as culatello, salame, mortadella and differences hams. Simple as it... More

YES YES YES! These people are Amazing! Thank you for the great food we had, the genuine hospitality and smiling efficient staff. And thanks Maestro for your ham hand-slicing skills. Who needs anything else for lunch but this: prosciutto to die for - light, sweet, melting. Hams and salamis, three sauces: green (basil/pesto), red (rich tomato), piquante, fresh chunks of bread, and a bowl of wine? Heaven.

I come from the same region of Parma and I can truly say this is one of my favorite place to go for 'salumi' (cold cuts), good wine (Gotturnio and Malvasia, red the first and white the second one). Furthermore the owner and the son they master the courtesy of reception. Do not miss during the music festival dedicated to... More

This place was fun. It is far from a normal restaurant. Seated at rustic tables laid our between shelves upon shelves of wine and other products, we were first served 'salse' with bread; a piquant spread, another deeply savoury, sun-dried tomatoes, anchovies. Then a platter of cured meats - prosciutto, culatello, lardo, salami plus some pieces of cheese and melon.... More

This was my second visit to this place in the last years. As the name says it is a place full of historical memorabilia and pictures of Giuseppe Verdi and his works. A must for Verdi lovers. The food is very simple but nice. Cold plate of local sausages and cheese. If you add to it the wonderful background music... More
