We have visited Agriturismo Fattoria Ca Di Sole 3 times now and it gets better every time we visit, it perfect for single travellers, couples or families. Extremely clean and friendly and of course the food is unbelievable.

Upon arrival we were greeted by the very friendly Mauro, who made us feel extremely welcomed along with all the other staff there. The animals had a big part in making our experience at Ca Di Sole. Our accommodation was everything we had hoped for...and needed for our stay. We experienced the true Italian culture and loved our visit and we cannot wait to return. We had the pleasure of eating in the restaurant on three occasions as we loved the food so much. All the produce was hand picked from their garden and sourced from local organic dairy. Thank you to everyone at Ca Di Sole we will see you all soon! Annie and Jess xMore
We came here as a group of 8, 5 adults and 3 children six or under. We enjoyed our dinner so much that we came back the night after, and between us we tried nearly every dish on the menu. The prices were good, and...the food delicious. We particularly enjoyed the meat and cheese platter, the cold sparkling red wine, and the venison goulash. The fried polenta appetizer was excellent as well!More
We stopped by to have a lunch. The owner makes the pasta himself and it is amazing. He also gave us a tour at the place, it is very cozy and welcoming. It’s definitely worth the drive.
I love this place! The nicest people, best food surrounded by Nature . Definitely worth visiting :) we had an amazing time...
Well not only cutest goat that sleeps on the sofa, the boss Mauro is the soul of the place. Eating, drinking or just talking is a delight. Highly recommended
Local food, prepared beautifully and tastes amazing. Relaxed setting, homemade fresh warm bread was a bonus. Local wine is great, try the red sparkling for something a little different. The truffles are fresh and left unflavoured, so taste amazing. The peppermint and ginger liquor is...a must!More
had lunch and dinner ..food was delicious 😋 great wine 🍷 homemade bread 🍞 peaceful atmosphere 🐝🌸
Agriturismo Fattoria Ca di Sole once again does not disappoint. This trip I had their maurilli al pesto di pistacchi patate e fagiolini. The blend is what the Italian would say, equilibrata. Indeed tasty and perfectly blended. Those visiting to savour the cuisine, should keep...in mind that the red wine is specifically frizzy. The owner produces his own blend. Like previous visits, the staff is always friendly and accommodating. The location is beautiful. Today, in the middle of a heatwave, the light breeze is a perfect escape from Bologna. A visit well worth it.More
My husband and I stopped here for lunch driving from Bologna to San Gimignano. Our host carefully explained the menu to us in English- everything is seasonal and local, including a bottle of local sparkling wine. Everything was Devine! We sat outside and after our...lunch our host bought us selection of home made liquors and sat down and joined us in a drink. He then went to fetch 2 of his puppies for us to hold. Great food, perfect setting and fantastic hospitality!More
Mauro's hospitality is so welcoming and his agriturismo continues to inspire with fresh cheeses, homemade pasta dishes as well as his amazing drinks and farm honey. The expanding family of animals includes goats and chickens which add to the rural and charming ethos of Ca...di Sole. Everyone there is extremely friendly and all my visits have left me feeling refreshed, peaceful and wanting to 'live the good life' back home again.More
We stayed at Ca di Sole in August 2015 for four days. Our only regret is that out of those four days, in two the restaurant was closed. On the other two we had the great opportunity to eat Francesca's creations. Delicious, well prepared, fresh,...local produce, tasty. Truffles are a speciality of Ca di Sole so you have a chance of choosing from among several interesting pasta and main course dishes with truffle, too. And the amount used is very very generous! The restaurant has a weekly menu, changing on every Thursday, with enough choice to satisfy you for the full week. Among other things (and in addition to truffles speciality dishes) we had pasta with goose ragout, deer stakes, rabbit stew - all excellent. The housewine was a very good biological wine and the prices for all of these were very reasonable indeed. Service was very nice and friendly. A great place to eat.More
Thank you very mutch, hugs
Mauro was so kind to open his restaurant to us on a day when it normally would be closed as my family and I stopped for Lunch on our way to Florence from Verona. Mauro and his family treated us as family during our brief...stopover and one of our highlights visiting Italy. The food and drink was fantastic. Obviously anything with truffles was amazing but the ragu and meats were great as well. The homemade after dinner drinks were fantastic and I'm a bit sad I couldn't enjoy more but alas I had to drive.More
Thank you very mutch, it was a pleasure
Brilliant local kitchen, with local delicacies - including truffles they went searching for in the morning! Charming atmosphere, wonderful outdoor terrace with views of the mountains - we enjoyed almost all of our meal here
thank you very mutch
It was a blessing to eat (and stay) at Mauro's Ca di Sole. Mauro and Francesca prepare all their dishes themselves, and get most ingredients from the land surrounding the agriturismo, including truffle (tartufo), herbs, strawberries to make truly fresh ice cream, and even wild...boar meat. Everything was just excellent, and made straight from the heart. A must-go for people that really appreciate taste.More
