The egg and cheese is the best dumpling ever! The ginger was also fantastic. But who am I kidding, it was all awesome! Friendly, attentive staff, delicious food, high balls for daaaaays. Fun and delicious.

Stumbled upon this lovely little gyoza joint in Kawaramachi area, Kyoto. Run by enthusiastic girls, it serves a variety of gyoza, including vegan options. Try it when you are in this area.

The gyozas are Chao Chao are amazing. The place itself is small but you can tell the chefs know what they’re doing. Everything we tried was great, especially the curry and spicy giozas.
