For me best Ramen ever sometimes it be a lineup, but it’s definitely worth the wait. Definitely put the egg and seaweed inside.

The queue was about 15 persons. It took 15 min to Q outside the restaurant. We were given an order sheet to select ramen options. After entering, we order via a machine. Once the ticket was issued, there was another Q inside the restaurant. When the...seat is available, you can ushered into a cubicle. The food came quickly. The whole meal took half the time to Q. Ramen tasted very good. Whole process remind one of just on time factory procedure.More

We were 8 in the group and they accommodated us - allowing us to be together. Long queu but it was fast. They really preserve privacy for each diner.

The Ichiran-Ramen is exactly how I like my Ramen: Savoury, rich, creamy broth, thin noodles and moreover, you can have spicy seasoning! We came here on a rainy, rather chilly day and it was the perfect day for a deliciously warming and very filling Ramen....You can specify how you would like your Tonkotsu Ramen on a form (like the thickness of the noodles) and also order extras like half-boiled eggs, extra meat or noodles. The dining experience in Ichiran is different, because you sit in booths, but you can simply fold away the wall if you are with another person. Of course, there are tons of other much cheaper, good Ramen places, but you shoud try out Ichiran at least once if you are in Kyushu.More

Many people around the world rate this as the Best Tonkotsu Ramen in Japan. I agree because I have tried 25 places for Tonkotsu and it can't be beat. The best part is that you decide on how you want the Sauce, Noodles, Spice, Oil...and extras. Kind of build your own Ramen. Plus it is Open 24 hours.More

Loved it. Classic place. Elsewhere U can do nicer, or more quaint, but this place is great for downtown, quick, tasty noodle bowl.

Just a walking distance from our airbnb apartment. Love the place. You order from a vending machine, you have your own cubicle with all the necessities that you need while eating. You get to enjoy the ramen to yourself. Love the broth, the smooth silky...noodles, and the pork cutlets are very tender. Would really recommend this ramen house. We even bought a box of ichiran ramen to take home to the Philippines.More

I’m not a big Japanese ramen fan but absolutely love Ichiran ramen. This particular location was a must visit for me since it has a special Tenjin edition of their ramen haha only available here. We arrived at around 11:20 and had to wait about...30-40 minutes. This location has vending machines where you place your initial order and prepay for vouchers to exchange for food once you are seated. The vending machine was slightly confusing because you had to prepay before you made your selection. (But they do have instruction posted next to it). After obtaining the voucher, you fill out the customization menu to determine how hard you want your noodles, how spicy and strong the soup, etc. The customization menu is in Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean. This location has the stall style seating. Once you are seated, you turn in your voucher and menu and wait for your food. You can order additional things once you are seated, and can check out at the exit. The special edition ramen has a thicker broth and a stronger flavor, and is served in a cool box with a cover. It was very delicious and next time I’m at a different Ichiran, I might consider ordering a stronger broth and see if tastes similar! I was curious to see if this box bowl has a secret message at the bottom just like the normal bowls and it did!More

After watching a You Tube video on this place, I had to try it while overnighting in Fukuoka. Amazing Tonkotsu style Ramen, ordered via vending machine at the entrance and served to you in your own private cubicle. The ramen was amazing, so good that...I had a second bowl the next day! If you are in Fukuoka and don't have time to visit Ichiran, don't panic as the have a small outlet in the Domestic Airport now!More

Ichiran was my first experience using the vending machine to order food. It is straight forward, but takes getting used to. I then went inside and sat in my little box, I found this style of eating fascinating. I like the fact you can close...yourself off and just enjoy the food with little distraction. Before actually eating, you fill out a form, basically customizing your ramen. Once the ramen arrives, you are left alone to eat. I loved the bowl the ramen was served in. The portion was pretty big, I am amazed by how many noodles are in these bowls, never ending! The broth was a tad salty, but very good, the noodles were excellent, and the pork was amazing. Overall, I recommend eating at Ichiran, the experience was truly unique.More

If you are looking for a japanese experience, and you enjoy good food, this is a "must do". Even that it's a fast food chain, is the best one. Simple menu but prepared according to what you like, you choose the amount of flavor the...thickness of the noodles, how spicy you wanted, etc, etc. You will not be disappointed.More
