I arrived on a Wednesday at 18:05. The waiting line was already huge. 1.5 hours later, at 19:35, it was finally my turn. At 19:15, while I was still waiting outside, the staff put a sign on the entrance door stating the waiting list was...full and they would not accept new customers that evening. The staff was super friendly. When I entered the restaurant, all cooks cheered. They do this every time a customer walks in. Given the extremely long waiting time, I was surprised to see several empty tables. I was impressed by how fast they served my order though. In less than 30 min. I was done eating and on my way out. The quality of the food was good, especially the tuna sashimi and grilled eel. However, the maki were 4x bigger than the average maki, because of which eating them was extremely difficult. Eating a gigantic maki that fits for only 25% in your mouth while using chopsticks naturally results in a big mess. I don't know if it's their signature dish to serve gigantic sushi pieces, but it ruined my dinner experience. I felt uncomfortable, messy and awkward. Was it worth it to wait 1.5 hours to eat here? No. There are plenty of sushi places in Tokyo in the same price range that serve the same or even better quality food. Not sure why Sushi No Midori is so popular.More

An out of the world experience. First you took a ticket from the machine and waited to be seated starting from 2h if you were lucky or could be up to 4h and more. Crazy. The wait was however worth it. If you want to...skip the queue, go there at least half hour earlier than the opening hours and avoid weekends and holidays. The food was excellent and unbeatable. Quality was good, fresh and seasonal. Prices were affordable. Super value for money. The crab salad and the tuna tartare were the signature dishes. Don't miss it. All other sushi and sashimi a la carte and sets were equally excellent.More

Are here on a recent trip to Tokyo. You need to be prepared to wait for quite a while. The first night I came there I wasn’t prepared and ended up goi g time where else. On Day 2 I arrived to get my ticket...at 3:45 pm and still had a 90 minute wait. I sat at the sushi bar and proceeded to have some of the freshest sushi of my life...and the portions were large. Highly recommended but get there early.More

A traditional sushi chain, the quality of the place is being kept along the years. Went for a family gathering , we had each the standard sushi assortment of around 2,700 yen and some other stand alone salad. It was enough to fulfill our wishes..., drinking sake , it came to around 18,000 yen. The only downside, it became too touristic, many people queuing up and it took us 2.5hrs to get in...I felt it is too much , better go to other branches of the chain, you need to queue up but maybe less...More

Very good sushi place, it was very delicious. Also we had a nice place at the counter, where you can watch the chef preparing your sushi in front of you. But you have to keep in mind there is always a really big waiting line....You get a ticket with a number and need to wait until the waiter calls you inside (it can even take a few hours). Even though we didn’t regret waiting, it was worth.More

Umegaoka Sushino Midori Ginza puts their sushi first. The long queue (it took over two hours from collecting our ticket to being seated) is worth every minute. The bill at the end 3,500 each was super affordable for the quality we received. This will be...the first place I go back to when I return to Tokyo.More

It’s a really good sushi restaurant, everything its on point. The prices are so reasonable for a couple traveling around Japan. Sake from 800 yens (bottle) sushis (nigiris) and a very complete dinner for two around 6,500 yens. The attention was nice and i recommend...to be in the sushi bar. I fully recommend this place.More

An amazing neighbourhood Sushi restaurant. Plain and simple decor. No fuss efficient service and, most importantly, impeccably presented wonderfully tasty sushi. Portions are larger than normal but it’s not quantity over quality. The only downside is the queue length although they do offer a ticketing...system to organise things. One final thing. It’s also incredibly good value versus anywhere else of this quality.More

The place is a fest. The chef walks around and gives advice and takes orders in a friendly way. The combinations of sushi, sashimi and all are outstanding, a cocktail to the eye. A fiest. And yet, affordable. Always always full and no booking. But...you can book your place in the line!More

I have been to the branch in Shibuya (both mark city and the revolving sushi) akasaka, and I can confidently say that the ginza branch is the best in terms of quality. It's at least a 1 hr wait..so be prepared, but it's worth it.

Our second favorite Midori location in Tokyo. Use the EPark app to book a table, otherwise you’ll be waiting outside for at least an hour. But, oh is it worth it! Inexpensive and high quality! Highly recommended.
