Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I tried the Spicy Pollack Roe Thick Egg-Drop Ankake Udon soup and it's the best ever. Definitely a place to seek out if you’re in the Roppongi area, it's my 1st time and I would love to stay here! Sushi and appetizers were all tasty...and worth eating again.More

The atmosphere is great, although the food does not have the best quality, and once they bring them to you they lacked the follow up to see if you were cooking it correctly

This UDON restaurant is located in Roppongi. In addition to the usual Japanese UDON noodles, there is a stylish UDON menu. I odered "Carbonara UDON",The cream and udon were amazingly matched. I have never eaten such udon before. I loved udon more and more.

This is an institution for udon and even if you don't really like udon initially, a trip to Tsurutontan will change that. The food is delicious and remember you can get extra portions of noodles for no extra charge. Just have to tell them the...desired portion size when ordering. Eating from the giant bowl itself with a ladle as a spoon is an experience on its own. Slurp away!More

Iced waster promptly served. Salad came fast while we waited for the udon. The shrimp and mushroom udon in shrimp bisque was delicious. The pork and spinach udon was good too. Heaps of vegetables with this one. Large serving of udon for barely 1400 yen,...great value! Worth a visit!More

The biggest plus point of this restaurant is that they offer x2 and x3 more udon noodle for free. People like me who eat huge amount of foods cannot hate ysurutontan! I cannot believe they can still make money after the free noodle.

This place is famous for its sizable portion of udon noodle dishes. The bowl itself is large as well as its portion itself. I recommended and visited this place on a numerous occasions and never had a bad experience. Counter seats are available as well...as in-room tables, I would recommend to make reservations during the peak hours. They do have rooms upstairs as well for the parties more than 3 to 4, but again I would call ahead to see availability if you would like some privacy. I love their salads!!! Also they offer some maki rolls if you're more familiar with California roll styled versions. Unfortunately their menu's are mostly Japanese but with pictures, and the staff answered questions if we had any. They have other locations throughout Tokyo, I've visited one in Shinjuku which had a a very long que *Literally the line was up and down the stairs the entrance and outside towards the street* I heard that they have another location in Haneda airport for anyone who would swing by.... Roppongi location was great. If the wait gets long, there are plenty of shops nearby to kill time! *Don Quijote* is next door : )More

First time I have been here. The noodles where amazing. Allot of types to choose from. And take note that you can choose different size bowls. And the biggest size ones don’t cost any more up to 3 times bigger.
