Never tried okonomiyaki before but my sister recommended it and I wasn’t disappointed great for a quick lunch stop after shopping and very filling lots of fillings to choose from

Great food. Busy atmosphere. Great to watch the chefs cooking the food right in front of you and then serving it up. The okonomiyaki was delicious!

Definitely a must eat in Osaka is okonomiyaki. My husband suggested this place and it was worth going to. The okonomiyaki is prepared and then brought to you- no making it yourself at the table (which might be a good or a bad thing depending...on your style I suppose.) I'm not a big fan of Okonomiyaki. The food was a little sweet and creamy than what I expected. Good experienced. One of the must try food in Osaka.

We chose 3 different okonomiyaki, each more delicious than the other. But they were huge! Don't get me wrong, we were all very happy to be treated so kindly, you just have to make sure you are very hungry to eat everything! Osaka style okonomiyaki...made it difficult to choose a winner between Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka okonomiyaki, for sure! Highly recommend, but beware you might have to wait a long while for a table. Totally worth it though.More

We visited the outlet at Dotonbori, next to a Kobe Beef restaurant on a weekend morning. There was a big and rowdy group queuing up in front of us, and we noted how most of the staffs ( mainly Japanese) frowned when they instructed the...group to proceed to another level, for fear of disturbing the peace and harmony of other diners on the main level. The disgust for the earlier group probably remained when we were being shown to our table. This was the first time in my so many trips to Japan that I was made to feel unwelcome in a restaurant. The staffs were not being rude, and they were still prompt in taking our orders and serving our needs, but it was apparent from their body language and smirks on their faces that made us felt awkward. Despite the large crowd, our food arrived quickly. They were delicious. Although some of us wanted to order more, we thought we should probably get out of there asap so as not to further endure the wrath of the staffs.More

Perfect for our Japanese pancake and yaki soba. The staff were great even with our extremely limited Japanese, they still were able to take our modified orders. Don't be fooled by the queue outside, it moves very quickly! They also provide and English menu.
