English menus are available and one can get a pretty good view of the Dotonbori river from certain seats. Once fried, it's hard to make out what you ordered, but the staff very kindly pointed out each skewer to us. The sauce is what makes...the kushikatsu great - but remember, no double dipping! I saw this restaurant with long queue. Also, I wanna try it. I like doteyaki( it’s boiled meat with soup and you must try fried stuff with iced beer.

Make sure you sign in on the screen. They do have english menu and cool thing is they have automation. The bad part of ordering everything comes on one plate and no labels so eating everything is like a guessing game. I was there bad...part is the staff there are not careful they were picking up plates and sauce from other table and spilled it on me. Ended smelling like sauce all day. Food was ok.More

We came for kushikatsu here as it’s famously recommended as the best place to go in Osaka. My bf got one of he sets and I got some individual skewers, as I don’t like fish or eggs. Plus, we got two large beers. The skewers...and sauce were tasty enough - it’s fried food on a stick! Good experience, and would be great to have this on the table during a drinking session!More

This place is famous and was recommended to us by a Japanese colleague. Best kushi katsu in Osaka she said. It didn’t disappoint. We shared the ‘b’ platter option and it was enough for lunch and very delicious. Deep fried fish, beef, pork, quail eggs,...cheese, chicken and more. The dipping sauce was delicious too (be sure to only dip once!). Kushi katsu is a staple in Osaka and this was one the better ones we’ve tried. Washed down with an icy cold lemon sour - can’t beat that! Give it a go!More

Overpriced tempura, staff who can speak very limited English despite being in tourist area. Starting from 1400yen for a set of assortment of tempura. Told the staff that I could not eat beef in Japanese and still the staff did not change the beef skewer...in my set. Maybe some Japanese could not understand that certain cultures are not able to eat certain food, as they look very confused when I wanted to return them the beef skewer after served. Food is not worth the price. Bad experience. For that amount of money I would rather eat something else more filling and satisfying.More

Kushikatsu is one of those Japanese eats that is simple, yet painfully good, and this place does them well! We spent maybe two or so hours here, enjoying the rowdy atmosphere and eating as much as we could. Food is very simple to order, and...this is more of a wave/shout someone down kinda place. While we had japanese speakers in our group, our english only friends had an easy enough time with the menu. Once you get your food, make sure you leave it on the tray until you're eating! And only dip ONCE in the communal sauce! We did wait about 40 min to get in, but staff were friendly and we weren't hustled out at all.More
