In a city of great eats, these gyoza really didn't stand out. And the chilli soy didn't get the desired spicy kick I was looking for. Can try if you're not amenable to takoyaki?

Great to get food quick and cheap. They wont be the best dumplings you can have but they are still good!

The food is decent but customer service is horrible! The staff didn't exhibit the professionalism and politeness that I expect in a Japanese establishment. They need A LOT MORE training if they want to work in the service industry.

The gyoza here are so good and quick and you can have them inside the restaurant or for takeaway. We had fun sitting at the counter to eat them and watching them make so many gyoza. These gyoza are crispy on top and a bit...softer the rest of the way around. They taste so fresh and we love the soy sauce mixed with chilli oil. We had them inside at this location and also at another location on Shinsaibashisuji for takeaway. And last year on Dotonbori in the summer they had gyoza sandwiches as a feature. The sandwiches were amazing, with a bun topped with fresh gyoza, noodles and a mayo and I think teriyaki sauce. It was phenomenal and we went back a second and third time. If you ever see this again, I highly recommend giving it a try!More

Along the Dotonbori main arcade of restaurants w/ giant food displays (e.g. the giant moving crab, giant sushi, etc); look for the one w/ the giant gyozas. This place has been in business for 50 years. There was a long line outside waiting for gyozas...to-go; but we had no problem getting a table inside. We came late ~11pm for a late night snack & ordered a combo of gyozas, fried rice and fried chicken to share. Service was efficient and food was delicious and affordable!More

We snacked our way through Dotonbori on our visit to Osaka and loved the gyoza at Ohsho. That’s all we had and it was as good of gyoza as I’ve ever had. Made very fresh by a magician of a guy who was working his...tail off pumping out gyoza for the long line of people on the street. You can order as we did from the street window (gyoza and a few other things) or go upstairs to a proper sit down restaurant, which I can’t comment on since we didn’t go up there. But we stood inside at the counter and ate our delicious gyoza and were happy as could be. My mouth is watering just thinking about these little dumplings. Yum!More

Was really craving gyoza after a long day traveling to/from Osaka, and the internet pointed to the presence of the tasty treat at this place. There was a to-go section in the front, and you can also sit down in the first or second floor....Smoking indoors is allowed so be mindful of that in case you have asthma or breathing issues because there seemed to be quite a few people hanging out and smoking on the second floor. It’s a small restaurant but you can still have a private conversation. You pay after the meal downstairs near the entrance. There are water jugs and sauces already set at the tables for you to serve yourself. We ordered the gyoza (dumplings), spicy noodles, and bulgogi. Get the dumplings because they’re delish, don’t get the bulgogi because it’s such a small portion it’s not worth the price, and the spicy noodles are actually really spicy so be careful. They don’t really speak English but there’s pictures on the menu to point to. Overall a pretty quick meal that you can stop at; it’s a chain but it’s good quality food.More

Had read a number of v-blogs that recommended this place. Glad we went. Was a line for take away (which was about 10 deep) and another shorter line waiting for a table to free up. We decided to wait and was seated within 5 minutes....Not a ton of options which help make it simple for ordering and timeliness of orders / food prep. Our table faced the guy hand making the gyoza’s. It was kind of fund to watch him and how quick he made it look. Food was good and beer was cold. Thought it was pretty good value for what you got. Would go again.More
