Recently visited The Carpenters Arms for lunch with my mother and a couple of friends.Three of us had roast lamb which was just like a good old home cooked dinner. Prices are reasonable. Plenty of traditional pub grub on menu. Very friendly and helpful staff
Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. I chose the lamb and mint pie from the specials board. It came with freshly cooked veg and roast potatoes. It was as good if not better than a home cooked pie. Everything was so delicious and so well cooked....More

Hi June, Apologies for only getting to your question now. No they don't do a quiz night only the Crown Inn, Bransgore, does on a Monday I believe. We don't tend to eat in the Crown only friends do and once you have had a pie in the Carpenters you would not order one in the Crown. The rest of the food on the Crown menu is good just not their pies all show and no content !!! Lovely garden though
