Recently visited The Carpenters Arms for lunch with my mother and a couple of friends.Three of us had roast lamb which was just like a good old home cooked dinner. Prices are reasonable. Plenty of traditional pub grub on menu. Very friendly and helpful staff

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. I chose the lamb and mint pie from the specials board. It came with freshly cooked veg and roast potatoes. It was as good if not better than a home cooked pie. Everything was so delicious and so well cooked....More
