Eckington Manor was the perfect location for a calm and romantic stay during a busy working week. From the incredibly warm and friendly welcome, to the calming music, luxurious room it was perfect! Our dining experience was equally as wonderful, with the tasting menu and...wine pairing perfectly prepared and presented. We would absolutely recommend Eckington Manor to anyone looking for something truly special at an affordable price. Huge thanks to the entire team for making our stay so very special. We will definitely see you again soon!More

We recently stayed at Eckington Manor with friends for a gourmet weekend. The accommodation in the restored Manor House was superb. The food was exceptional - we had the set dinner on the Friday and the Tasting Menu with wine pairings in the Saturday. Both...were exceptional and worth the visit. Staff were attentive and friendly - overall to be recommended.More

I was at eckington for the cookery course. Prior to booking I emailed and stated my dietary requirements. I was expected to cook three dishes where the main ingredient was pork which didn’t fit with what I had informed them of prior to me paying...and booking the class. They ignored my dietary requirements. I do not eat a joint of pork yet was expected to cook it and other dishes including pork I don’t eat. I left without making anything . I left without lunch . I had travelled 5 hours in total by car to go there. I emailed and suggested a partial refund which I thought was very reasonable given my wasted day, wasted course fee of £185 and wasted fuel . They refused to refund anything . I find their stance unreasonable hence my one star 🌟More

Dear Roam23647131801 Your review makes disappointing reading. As you are aware, following your departure from the cookery school, we tried to contact you by telephone several times and also by email as we were genuinely concerned and shocked that you had left the premises without...More

Nice setting within surrounding courtyard in a quiet village. Lunch was good, quality beef & veg, but Yorkshire pudding quite tasteless. Service was excellent, attentive staff throughout.

We visited here for a friend’s birthday and had the 5 course tasting menu with the wine flight. It was a terrible overpriced disappointment. The food was very average, beef shoulder undercooked and stringy, the rest completely forgettable. The wine flight was served in an...ad hoc fashion with no explanation of the pairings, most were served later than the course. I think that the ordinary menu is fine in line with a country pub but I would not bother with the tasting menu. I get the feeling that the restaurant is living off the reputation of the previous chef.More

I visited Eckington Manor to celebrate a milestone birthday for my better half. I had booked in for the 7 course taster menus and over night stay. The location is a a must, gorgeous surroundings and a fantastic location close to the town of Pershore,...surrounded by the Malvern Hills in the county of Worcestershire. We arrived at Ekington Manor for around 5pm. Check in is on the ground floor of the restaurant building but not obvious, but was eventually greeted by one of the staff who were more than happy to help. Our evening meal was booked for 7:30pm which was perfect as this gave time to have a wonder around Elkington village before getting ready. The 7 course taster menu was a great choice. Giving great variety and tastes. I had opted for the accompanying wine flight which again is well worth adding to your experience to compliment the food through each of the courses. The accommodation was very well laid out and perfectly in charge yet for the building period. Our room was in the main building surrounded by original beams and signs of when the building would have been used with a central fire place back in its original time. Breakfast included lunch with the accommodation was a delight and a perfect finish to a great weekend. We even had time to pop over to Stratford on our way back. Thank you to all the staff for a delightful time and superb meal.More

Stunning hotel & the loveliest staff. My wife & I stayed in the junior suite as were visiting friends who live locally for a fancy dress party. It’s such a nice change from the corporate world to have such an immaculate, unique, well maintained yet...traditional style hotel. Everything about our stay was perfect. Tracey and her team were welcoming, friendly and couldn’t have been better. The grounds are really well looked after and the breakfast was delicious. We will be back.More

Our room in the converted milking parlour was spacious and lovely and the food at dinner was terrific. Their chef is a gem. Breakfast was a (minor) letdown - we felt it was rather basic given the price we had paid and if you wanted...a flat white or Americano instead of the filter coffee you had to pay (top dollar) extra.More

Warmly greeted on arrival , good atmosphere in restaurant. Given time to look at menu. Whilst awaiting starters two different amuse bouches served , both very tasty. Starters :- Trout and corned beef , both enjoyable. The accompaniments to the main elements enhanced their taste....Main :- Shortrib of beef just right , carrots far too hard and were left on plate ,neither of us like undercooked vegetables.. Tenderloin of pork plus pork belly excellent , sauces tasty. Dessert :- Poached rhubarb strips on top of a vanilla custard castle. Chocolate fondant with soft centre . Both provided a pleasant end to the meal. Bottle of wine with meal , a bit on the expensive side. Service efficient , polite and cheerful , no complaints.More

We enjoyed a delicious 3 course Sunday lunch - the pork belly was melt in your mouth, the camembert starter was lovely and the sticky toffee pudding was on point. Much higher quality than you'd expect for the pricing.

We had not been able to dine here for 2 years with covid and health issues. The reception we received was wonderful as usual. The food was excellent and the service top notch. Value for money is as good as anywhere. For £55 for the...3 course menu we had 6 courses with pre starter, starter, pre main, main, predessert and dessert. All excellent quality. Well done to Judy, Jane and the whole team.More

The dining room upstairs has good ambiance , the service was good though not perfect , but the star of the show was the food. From the amuse bouche, to the starters, to the mains, to the desserts the food was of the highest quality....Beautifully presented with interesting ingredients and perfectly balanced flavours each dish was a pleasure to eat. We were saying to ourselves that the quality of the food was reaching Michelin star standards so I highly reccommend a visit.More
