The whole experience is wonderful, staff are friendly and helpful, food is outstanding. Having suffered with food intolerances, this restaurant accommodated me so well and the flavours were truly amazing.

What an evening! Stunning champagne cocktails began the evening with exquisite nibbles in the bar. We attended the Masterchef tasting menu evening and our high expectations were met and exceeded. Each course was simply divine, I'm no food connoisseur but I know what tastes delicious! The flavours were delicate and the presentation was so intricate. The service throughout the evening... More

This was my birthday treat.I was not disappointed. We spent the night in the hotel and enjoyed dinner and breakfast. The dinner was sublime I went vegetarian as I must be the only person who doesn't like belly pork (always on restaurant meals)Cauliflower lasagne doesn't sound appetising but it was The room was perfect with a welcoming super comfortable bed. The breakfast... More

I don't usually comment on other reviews but just felt I needed to reply to a couple of adverse comments.....the tables are definitely not too close together, the portion sizes are perfectly good and a toilet is a toilet is a toilet, it is neither big nor small! Now to the meal, we both agreed it was one of the... More

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant Mark and Sue Stinchcombe and the kitchen brigade created yet another sublime food experience for our third and final visit of 2016. BUT what makes this so very special is the fabulous team at Eckington Manor they work together in a quiet unassuming and extremely efficient way yet always have time to explain the dishes and smile.... The restaurant is small and you really need to book a table well in advance. The restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday and they do not serve lunch. The dinner menu has three courses for £48.00. A 10% service charge is added to the bill unless you inform the staff that you do not wish to have to pay... More

A Wednesday evening. Promptly seated. Agree with others about wine choice, something for all pockets. The Chilean merlot was good value and peppery. The scallop starter was wonderful; the chestnut velouté very complementary. I chose roasted pork and confit belly with spiced fritter and sprouts... extremely satisfying ... my partner had Eckington Manor filet of Beef and braised shin with... More

We tried a number of times to book a table here and eventually we managed to book a table, this coincided with a friends birthday so we had cause for celebration. Warm welcome and great to enjoy drink while browsing the very interesting menu. All of us enjoyed every dish that we were served by the knowledgable and enthusiastic team... More

The building is a bit uninspiring, very modern and looks out of place next to the Manor House. But we got a warm welcome into the bar, and the meal itself did not disappoint. Beautifully presented plates with inspired food combinations. The kitchen clearly cares a good deal about what it produces. Lighting at our table was a bit dark... More

A first visit for our family group of five on Sunday last for lunch. The first thing to say is that the 'manor' image is slightly hyped given the nondescript entrance turning into a quadrangle that is effectively the car park. The Manor House is in one corner and is attached to other farm buildings, with the modern reception/restaurant building... More
