Established in 1873, The Sir Roger Tichborne, is the idyllic, independent, family run countryside pub. Recently refurbished, the pub has a relaxed, friendly and informal feel. Locally sourced fresh produce is cooked daily and a wide selection of craft beers and ales are on offer. Situated in Alfold Bars overlooking the open fields of northwest Sussex – no matter the English weather it’s the perfect spot for sitting out in the stunning garden or making for a quick, cosy fireside retreat.

Had a really enjoyable meal here in the week leading up to Christmas. The food was good, the decorations beautiful and the service pleasant and efficient. Easy to find and plenty of parking.

Unfortunately there are not disabled toilets yet the toilets are just about big enough to be able to access with a wheelchair but they probably would require assistance.

No unfortunately they do not. But have a good selection of starters that would do the job of a sandwich.

The interactive board is now gone but there are options on the menu, the staff are aware of the choices and are happy to ask the chefs of they're not sure.
