Great reviews on Trip Advisor led me and my Wife to give Ammos a try last night. We weren't disappointed, staff were great from the moment we were greeted. Mum's desert, which was on the house, was delicious as was Dads home brew, which actually took my wife's breath away. Although my wife ended up with her third choice of... More

This was the best experience I had during my stay im Zakynthos. The staff were friendly, witty and kind. The red snapper and salmon..both outstanding! And the chips are to die for...trust! Oh, and becareful of the gasoline...I mean spirits they offer. It has some serious kick, and yet no hangover effect....YES PLEASE! Can't recommend this spot enough. You will... More

Excellent evening. Lovely outside table overlooking the harbour. Food is home cooked and tasty. Service from Stavros and Sebastian was spot on. Complimentary dessert and raki was much appreciated. My wife had a very fresh sea bream with herbs and I had aubergine with mince, bechamel and cheese which was light, soft and very tasty. Traditional Greek food at it's... More

Visited here with my girlfriend. We were on the island slightly out of season, so the restaurant was quiet. The owner was really friendly and help us to choose some items from the menu. He also helped with the wine order and said that if we didn't like our choice, we could swap it. All the food we had was... More

Came here as a result of other TA reviews; we were not disappointed. We started out on the terrace but ended up inside as the weather was changeable. Two of us had fish soup and the other half shared the mezze starter - soup very hearty- substantial and fresh. Mezze included cheese pies sausage meatballs etc and of course bread... More

Well worth visiting this place and avoiding the touristy places along the pedestrian section. Wide selection from the menu. Seafood excellent, we had the sea bass and some dips for starters. I had the lamb shank which was awesome. Everything is cooked from scratch so don't come if in a rush. Well worth watching the world go by as you... More

If you are struggling to find somewhere to eat with the amount of choice you have in Zante town this place should be top of your list. Went here a few days ago randomly and it couldn't have been better. The food was fresh and delicious and Stavros and the rest of the staff made us feel so welcome! We... More
