Cheerful service but with quite a limited menu and few seats. Recommend the yoghurt granola and buy a whole pizza. If you think its too big it reheats well in their microwave for second helpings!

This was a easy place to stop and grab a sandwich on the go. The food was descent and quick. If you are in a hurry this is a good place to go.

Fortunately it wasn't one of the fast food chains. But a modest fastish food option at the North Rim. My wife and I split a small pizza for a light lunch and it hit the spot. Not gourmet, but not bad, I've had much worse in regular sit down restaurants. My only complaint is I wish they had ice cream... More

After our dinner at the Lodge, my Mother wanted to stop for some soft-serve ice cream to bring back to our cabin. It's a cafeteria set-up, with metal rails along the line and a cashier at the end. There are a couple of refrigerated coolers with food & beverages, pizza by the slice, custom-made sandwiches, soft-serve and drink dispensers. Unfortunately,... More

Dining "options" at the North Rim are few with little difference in quality. Everything is operated by the same concessionaire, which is unfortunate. Average is the best you can hope for. Try to pack in food in your cooler.

We had made reservations for dinner at the Lodge for our second night, but for our FIRST night on the North Rim, we opted to try the less "fancy" option, the Deli in the Pines. We got a slice of Pizza (the works one) - it was seriously excellent! My only gripe was that they charged 35 cents for a... More

Great stop in to energize your day. Everything to top off your liquids, have a great serve yourself soft serve ice cream cone, slice of pizza, sandwich, whatever your pleasure. Do not skip this treasure.

Needed quick bite before we start out hike. Pizza was okay, elk chili was actually loaded with meat. Meatball sandwich wasn't bad either.

Sometimes there's a line just to order the pizza. Takeaway and eat by the rim. But they also have the standard short order fare. And there's inside table seating. My favorite is to order an ice cream cup (pull your own) after a rather vigorous day hike.

We ate the pre-made sandwiches @ $8 each, but they were fine. Soft drinks are expensive ($2.75), but you get free refills as long as you bring back the cup (even the next day).
