We have used the Thai Corner on many occasions. Never got round to writing a review on here though. During lockdown we have had several takeaway meals which have been lovely but bit the same as being inside getting the full experience. We would definitely recommend to anyone who wants authentic fresh cooked Thai food, with great service and a chilled atmosphere. Personal favourite is the Seafood Platter, the Pad Thai and the Tom Yum Soup. Best Thai we have ever been to! Can’t wait to book in again when we are allowed to dine inside!

not yet up for full indoor eating experience so decided on takeaway eaten in hotel (deliberately went for room with table and space). Great call. We had wandered the town in the afternoon so found that the restaurant is not actually in the marsh (as per trip advisor address info) but round the corner in Pylewell road - mild panic averted! Pre order day before for collection in 10 minute intervals - can recommend taster plater for 2 (dim sum dumplings, satay chicken and mussels with Thai herbs and chilli ) then ginger stir fry with chicken, seafood salad and pork pad Thai. All hot and delicious in very good sized portions. Will return for indoor sit down meal on next visit to Hythe.

We had an outstanding Thai meal here. A very extensive menu with lots of fish and seafood on offer. We chose a seafood/fish sharer as a main course which was £30 odd but actually turned out excellent value. Very attentive and welcoming staff. Highly recommended.

The food was very poor. The food lacked any flavour and was cold on arrival. The dishes where cooked and presented with sauces in dishes. They clearly have no business being in business. Staff was asked clearly how dishes came we where assured it was the way we asked, but it did not come the way we expected. When we complained the manager defended there food and refused to listen to us, never mind the fact my wife’s a well accomplished chef and we both know our food.if you want value for money don’t bother going here.

We've enjoyed takeaways from here in the past so wanted to dine in. This is a small friendly place with good food and good atmosphere. It's not cluttered but has contemporary decor. I must say I enjoyed the best red curry I've ever had and although I was tempted by the varied menu I just couldn't help myself. The downside however is the lack of handgel upon entry and lack of NHS qr code. I was told they didn't have the qr code and rely on details taken at the time of booking, so despite the staff thoroughly cleaning chairs & tables between diners, I'm not 100% happy. The NHS website says: "Which venues in England should display the official NHS QR code poster? If your business or venue falls into one of the sectors or categories that should provide a customer log, then you must display an NHS QR code poster at your venue. This applies if you provide: hospitality services, including pubs, bars, restaurants and cafés" Hopefully this oversight can be corrected.

Visited this restaurant for the first time for a Saturday lunch with my husband and Dad. Food and drinks served in a very friendly and timely manner. The starters were good mussels and chicken livers. My Dad had the hot and sour duck which he enjoyed. My husband had the parang with chicken. The chicken was tender but the sauce was a little lacking in flavour. My green curry with prawns had a lovely flavour, however, the aubergine was missing. I did mention this but nothing was said. The desserts were excellent, sticky toffee pudding and banana fritters. We would visit again as overall we really enjoyed our visit.

The food is just excellent. We ordered to much and had to take a doggie bag home. Service great. Meeting up with family to discuss some family matters, but has a foodie family all very happy with the excellent taste of the fresh food. Seafood platter while it seems pricey was very filling. Beef salad as usual always just perfect and made an adjustment for a family member who can't take Chilli. Thank you for your attention to detail.

We got welcomed by the lovely owner who was very lively and polite. We sat down and they gave us a jug of water without even ordering it! The waiters were very quick on their feet and they always asked how our food was and if there was anything that was not good. The portions of food are very decent. Our family all enjoyed their food and I definitely recommend coming here! It is a good place if you just want something different and delicious.

First day after lockdown and we returned for dinner. Thinks went right from the moment the iced water arrived unbidden to the table. Ordered three superb starters and three fine mains. Especially recommend the filleted fish, which arrived sizzling to the table. Thai beer and an (apparently) very acceptable non-alcohloic beer or two completed the meal. It was good to be back.

The restaurant is great, central location, car park a 2 minute walk away too. Lovely clean restaurant, it feels very cosy and welcoming. Booking is easy, and no issues with it. The owner was our waiter, really helpful, very cheerful, made us feel most welcome and at home. We haven’t been here for a year, he still remembered our favourite dishes, and the tweaks we like too, outstanding! Having spent some time (on several occasions) in Thailand, it’s awesome to find a proper restaurant which serves real Thai food. No added rubbish to bulk out (like tofu), just melt in the mouth delicious meals. Check backs on each course, perfect timing, drinks brought to our table as well. The restaurant is lovely, service is perfect, food is amazing! If this restaurant was nearer to us we’d be here every few weeks. They cater for personal requirements, so if you want something more mild, or hotter, just ask. I have been lucky enough to travel extensively, and eat out once a fortnight too. This is in my top 3 restaurants I have ever been to, one of the others is closed down, the other is a 24 hour flight away, yes, it’s that good!

Lovely meal - the food was amazing. I am a regular frequenter of Thai restaurants and this is one of the best in the area. The starters and mains were top quality and the menu offered a wide variety of options. The ambience is sweet - it is a small and cosy space with the decor of a warm living room - adds to the authenticity of the place! Would definitely recommend if you are close by.

On a weekend break in New Forest NP, booked a table to eat there. The food was very good, especially the giant prawn in curry sauce, excellent. We highly recommended it. By the way, the location of this restaurant in google map is not correct, it is at the other side of that group of buildings.

We booked for a rainy Saturday night and the place was packed. It is only a small restaurant, but it didn't feel like you were on top of one another. The service was excellent, friendly and professional. We had a selection of 3 starters consisting of Scallops, Dim Sum and Chicken Satay. All were delicious. For mains we had Thai Green Curry and whole Seabass with ginger and pickled plum. Both were excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves authentic Thai food at a very reasonable price.

A lovely warm welcome, a jug of iced tap water was put on the table without needing to ask. Very friendly staff who were very accommodating. The food was delicious and I can't wait to go back.

You have to wear a mask whilst moving to and from your table. Lots of cleaning going on including chairs and menus. All the staff wore masks. felt very safe. Restaurant was quite difficult to find. During in the evening it filled up mainly with regulars. Particularly liked the starters and the tempura prawns. Jasmine tea was very weak. would have liked a set menu as it was so difficult to choose from all the lovely dishes.
