A warm welcome to a beautifully put together restaurant with rooms. It takes a lot of hard work behind the scenes to produce such fabulous food full of flavour and little surprises and the Thistle room is a delight. A very enjoyable overnight stay. Highly...More

A little restaurant with a big reputation you are at home here in a sweater or a bow tie, Friendly attentive service presents a quite limited menu, but don't let that put you off because the food is well chosen from the local best. An...More

We only booked a couple of days in advance for a midweek booking. May be different if you wish to go on a weekend. Best to contact them direct to check. Set menu was £65 per person, so best to take some spare cash with you, unless your voucher is a very generous one. I think the meals were from 7-9pm. Best to try for 7pm, as it will take you until nearly 9pm to finish the courses. Enjoy your visit.
