For many years I have heard about this restaurant so was delighted when a friend treated me to a meal at Gordon's Restaurant for my Birthday. And the whole evening was indeed a treat from the warm welcome all the way through to coffee and...More
Wow! Food is amazing, rich, beautifully presented and the taste is out of this world.
Little cheese biscuits are fabulous. Home baked bread was beautiful and soft, disappointed I didn’t manage both slices.
I had venison tartare and my husband the cheese soufflé. Both tasted...More
We took advantage of Gordon's 'restaurant with rooms' feature during a weekend break. We had a very friendly welcome and enjoyed a wonderful meal - this mother and son team have achieved something very special. We were so impressed by the menu, presentation and flavours....More

We both ate and stayed at Gordons recently and it was simply amazing. The rooms, small in number are very comfortable and well laid out, but it was the food and friendliness of the place that made it that bit special.

We only booked a couple of days in advance for a midweek booking. May be different if you wish to go on a weekend. Best to contact them direct to check. Set menu was £65 per person, so best to take some spare cash with you, unless your voucher is a very generous one. I think the meals were from 7-9pm. Best to try for 7pm, as it will take you until nearly 9pm to finish the courses. Enjoy your visit.
