Returned to Gordon’s for the second time to celebrate my 40th birthday. Maria looked after our every need. Food was superb again and every course lovely. Soufflé and Guinea fowl tremendous. We stayed over and rooms great. Thanks again for lovely night!
Our experience on 7th October of Gordon's Hotel food and hospitality was star quality in every respect.
The restaurant sits in a lovely home, converted for the purpose, and is run by the welcoming patroness, Maria. Her son Gary is a multi-award winning chef who's...More
This was our first visit to Gordon's and we were very impressed with the excellent quality of the food.
We are really surprised that the restaurant has not been awarded a Michelin Star as we have been to Michelin Star restaurants where, in our opinion,...More

We've been coming to Gordons for the last 3 or 4 years and have never been disappointed. It makes a great stopping off point on the way to, or back from, Aberdeen.
The restaurant is quite small but it really is superb. The cuisine and...More

We only booked a couple of days in advance for a midweek booking. May be different if you wish to go on a weekend. Best to contact them direct to check. Set menu was £65 per person, so best to take some spare cash with you, unless your voucher is a very generous one. I think the meals were from 7-9pm. Best to try for 7pm, as it will take you until nearly 9pm to finish the courses. Enjoy your visit.
