We called in on a weekday for lunch - had liver and bacon and a brie tart - the liver was perfect and not served in a big lump but cut up into edible pieces - we have returned for Sunday lunch but would like to keep this pub a secret - don't want to spoil it!!! but if you... More

After reading tripadvisor reviews and finding ourselves close by to this quaint village establishment we decided to pass by for an early dinner - not realising their dining room (which is small) was already fully booked - however they accommodated 6 of us in the bar area - where they had a lovely fire burning and extremely friendly locals who... Visited on Easter Sunday with my wife and elderly mother. We all had Roast Beef and could not fault any of it. The deserts were fantastic as well. Have not been in this pub for 10 years it has not changed at all. Still a traditional country pub. We shall be returning again it is only 5 minutes away from... More

Lovely traditional pub, brought back memories from my youth! First time here and we were pleasantly surprised, I am a Veggie and the choice was surprisingly good, they have gluten free selection as well. My meat eating better half really enjoyed the hunters chicken. Food was lovely and not over priced. Will definitely be back.

The pub is warm and welcoming with new landlord settled. This is the type of place where you can easily lose yourself with good beer, great food and excellent company. The fish pie was just the thing for a cold, yet sunny lunchtime. Thank you to Shaun and Gayna. Will be back for Mother's Day.

What a lovely pub! A lovely open fire was very welcome on such a chilly day. We had dinner, I had the homemade fish pie from the special board, served with vegetables, it was lovely, really fresh and piping hot. The rest of my family had the beef and chorizo burgers, which were lovely, served with really good chips and... More

When you're a foodie, there's nothing more appealing than a menu full of homemade grub. More so when you find out there are offers on for certain events - like Valentines. The Valentine's menu was a steal - 3 courses for £19.95. I wish I'd taken photos of the food to post on here but I was too busy wafting... More

Warm welcome, great beers but best of all they cater for gluten intolerance. Definitely worth a visit, great to see the Romney Marsh medieval churches too.

Lovely little pub, very friendly. Open fire and very good food. Food took a while to cook but personally it's worth it as it's homemade and fresh if you dont mind the wait. I thought it was a little hidden gem.

Wonderful local pub. We have visited Burmarsh several times over the last few years and we always stop by the Shepherd & Crook. It is a great local pub, with pub food and friendly locals who are always willing to chat. There's also a darts board and an unusual but addictive game which requires swinging a ring on a piece... Attractive village free house, full of antiquities. We serve fresh home cooked food, using local produce where we can. We serve good pub classics, and have lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. We serve a comprehensive range of drinks, including well kept real ales. Our public bar is dog friendly
