Attracted by the Beatrix Potter exhibition in the building but found the Arts Centre of interest too. Worth a visit and a chance for a meal/snack in it's restaurant although fairly pricey for what you get

Had been attending workshop in centre & decided to grab lunch before heading off. Table service, but it was v slow and seemed that other diners did better by going to counter & ordering. Seem to be plenty of staff - just a bit disorganised....More

As I was with a group, I didn't have the opportunity to select the food we had for lunch. However, I found the arrangements a bit chaotic and twice had to chase up my coffee. Staff were overworked.
