We visited twice and on the first visit the raclette and pizzas were all fantastic against the slightly odd/off welcome. On the second visit the pizzas were great but the burgers and the veal dish were not nice and we fed that back but nothing happened and again the slightly odd treatment of paying customers. I don't mind quirky owners... More

We stayed in the village for 7 days in March. There are only 3 places to eat there and we chose to dine here twice as we enjoyed it so much the first time. There were 5 of us dining on both visits. The restaurant was comfortable for all of us. The menu was varied and the kids menu was... More

Brilliant restaurant, staff could not do enough. Fondue was excellent and the children's menu great value for money without being just nuggets and chips

The Grande Terche would not be the same without Pere Bill's. The food is exceptionally good and the service is excellent. We ate here 3 nights in a row and we were impressed with all of our meals. Pere Bill made us feel very welcome and was grateful for us trying to speak in French. After a long day skiing,... More

Also known as Pere Bill's this restaurant is ideally situated at the foot of the cable car to La Grande Terche - so the ideal place to stop after a days skiing. We only stopped for a drink today but the service was good, quick and with a smile. A very cosy interior makes you feel welcome and at home.... More

When you look up legend in the dictionary Père Bill is who you will see. Great food and friendly staff. We ate there 3 nights in a row as there's plenty of choice on the menu.

We had lunch and an evening meal there during a 4 day skiing trip. Both meals were very good, the portions were generous and the waiting staff were both helpful and friendly

We visited this restaurant on our last day of skiing at La a grande Terche, we had put off going here because of the reviews but everywhere was booked up. I am so glad we went, the staff where attentive and helpful and very patient with us and our very limited French. We had Richolet and the kids had the... More

The bar is warm and staff welcoming. Waitress was very friendly and brilliant with the children. There are a few reviews on here that criticise the owner, Bill. Please ignore them, he doesnt speak a lot of English and is set in his ways, he comes across gruff but is actually very nice and makes a brilliant milkshake for children!... More

Called in here hoping for a quick bite of lunch. The waitress led us into the restaurant area. Felt a bit cumbersome in our ski gear & boots but the place was pretty much empty. We had tried to converse with the waitress in French who appeared at first to speak only French but later spoke to us in fluent... More
