We have just visited, myself, my sister and our uncle who was treating us to a birthday lunch. The staff were really friendly and helpful we got a lovely table with big armchairs and the food was amazing. I had prawn cocktail and a cajun chicken salad both delicious. All the food was yummy and I especially enjoyed the real... More

Well we had a fantastic lunch here today with our two year old. We had attended the Thomas the tank engine day at the Bo'ness railway and just didn't fancy the burgers and chips there. The Corbie Inn has a great home cooked menu, we had haggis bonbons to start which were delicious then we all had fish. It was... More

This was our first visit to The Corbie Inn as we were also there to hear author Alan Bissett speak. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, welcoming and full of character. The staff were pleasant and the food was too notch. I recommend the chicken and ham pie. The only small improvement I would have liked was if the table service... More

Used to be good, and frequented it often, but totally gone down hill. Last visit put me off entirely as short dark haired waitress in her 50's? Has been there from start I think, always unpredictable, was clearly in a mood and very nippy. My mums scampi was not brought we had to ask, then it was cold, and granddaughters... More

Friendly and efficient service, usually pretty busy (which is always a good sign), comfortable seating. Menu is typical pub-grub but it's well done and affordable. Specials clearly have some thought put into them.

Was here with my gran today for a birthday/ Mother's Day lunch. Staff friendly food tasted great, the down side was both our mains were not that warm. Plates were roasting which masked the lack of warmth in the food, dessert was great maybe in another day it could have be better.

Trip to the Hippodrome wouldn't be complete without first going to Corbie Inn. Fresh cooked, non nonsense food at great value and friendly atmosphere.

The Corbie Inn is a recently refurbished and re-opened pub/restaurant situated close to the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway line.

In the summer you will be able to waive to the passing trains on their way to and from Birkhill Clay Mine from the beer garden.

The objective and vision has always been to offer the best of real ales and cask beers from local, regional and national breweries at value-for-money prices.

Beers are available in pint, 1/2 pint and 1/3 pint measures so you can taste & try and enjoy a selection from the 6 ales on tap.

The pub also offers a family-friendly atmosphere where children are welcome and can be served meals until 9pm when accompanied by an adult. A children's menu is available but children are welcome to choose and can be served half-portion meals of their choice from the main menu.

Booking for meals is not a requirement but is sometimes advisable especially at weekends and if a set time is preferred.
