Been here a few times, traditional local pub full of flint lock guns aggriculteral antiques and more besides on the walls, no hairs and graces sort of place. Food is always good, but the Sunday Roast is always a favorite but be warned we are not the only ones that know this! in between Horsey Dyke and the sea so... More

met a friend for lunch and what a great find, proper 'old world' feel to this pub, in the best of ways and some excellent ales to choose from. old world stops at the food though which was excellent cuisine, well cooked, well presented and a great choice including wide-ranging specials. cooked to order, with local produce and without unnecessary... This is a proper pub with and excellent range of beer and cider. After a walk along the beach this is a fantastic place to come for a drink and food. It may be basic inside but that is part of its character, a must if in or around Horsey

Ideally situated for our stay at the National Trust cottage we were staying at next door! The Barns! Popped in for a snack, a drink, and a family meal. All were enjoyable experiences. Great place to be able to drop in after our afternoon walks to the seals 1 mile away. Will plan to visit again.

We had a lovely walk around Horsey Windpump and to see the seals at Horsey beach. We arrived at the Nelson Head for lunch after walking several miles. It is a lovely little pub, very popular. The food was very good and reasonably priced. We both enjoyed what we had. My only complaint is that the ladies toilet was not... More

A lovely local pub, in prime walker location. Very popular because of excellent food and even better selection of real ale and ciders. Very busy at weekends, quietened down after 14:00.

We visited here twice on our break in Hemsby, decided to come here based on trip advisor reviews. It's a bit out the way so unless you are staying very close you will need to drive here. The pub itself is very traditional and old school with a huge variety of ales and ciders on offer amongst the standard largers... More

We popped in with two sandy dogs and was greeted with a full pub on a Wednesday afternoon so we knew we were in a good pub. Great ciders on offer some good ales, the dogs are only allowed in the bar area which is very understandable, so we had a drink and waited for a table. Very glad we... More

After a breezy walk on Horsey beach lunch next to the open fire was wonderful treat. Great food, good prices, warming environment fully deserves top marks.
